Chapter 26 – Escaping the Crypt
[Theodore’s POV]
I looked back once to make sure what Sebastian said was true. If I were being honest, I was quite surprised that the savages seemed to be rallying around him. Logan looked like she was too busy juggling the toddler in her arms and helping Sebastian undo the cages to notice the freed savages standing calmly behind them. My best guess was that they seemed to be waiting for orders. For now, I wasn’t going to question it. I was just grateful. My main focus was to get everyone out of here before we were discovered.
Rori was already pairing the rogues up that were in the worst shape with a more able-bodied partner. At least it would reduce the need to assist those who were less likely to care for themselves. Kneel
