My mind was spinning with all the revelations that have occurred within the last few hours. I looked back to see two of the savages Sebastian sent with me, following as if I was their commander. If we were caught by a pack member, the fact that I was flanked by two rogues who were clearly transitioning to savages was bound to raise questions. At this point, my best course of action was to be over cautious. Worst case scenario, I could pass Ace into their arms and buy them time to escape if I had to.
