When her mother found out about her irresponsible deeds, Honey Torres was forced out from her house as her punishment. Honey gladly left but after discovering the reality of being an independent woman, Honey finds herself all alone in front of a grocery store while eating an expired ice cream and regretting her decisions in life.

Seeing Saint Regina's former captain of the cheerleaders crying in front of the grocery store is not what Paul Ventura was expecting to see. When the former central midfield of the Saint Regina's Blue Hydras confronted Honey for being a drama queen, Honey begging him to let her stay at his house for one night was too much for Paul. Worried about his mother, Paul didn't agree to Honey's wish, making her lose hope. But when a storm had come to make Honey's life even more miserable, Paul sees himself coming back to save Honey from the cold.

With the unplanned involvement of Paul in her ill-fated life, Honey finds herself living with Paul and his ever so caring mother, Vilma. With Paul's help, Honey experiences the things that she had missed while growing up and she also discovers that there is more to see from Paul than just his soccer skills.
