He continued.

I can't stop myself from smiling after hearing his sentence. I didn't expect to be treated like this after what I have experience. Pinagtabuyan man ako ng tatay ko, sinalo naman ako ng pamilya ng nanay ko.

" Thanks Colt, I'll remember to call you if ever something happens." I promised to him.

Colt and I grew up together. Alam kong hindi matatahimik si Colt hanggat hindi ko sinasabing maayos lang ang lagay namin ni Luca. He treasured his family very much. He won't let anyone bully his family. Kung wala lang shooting na tinatapos panigurado sumama na yun sa amin.

[Hmm, Good night Sandy, take care.]

Pagpapaalam niya. He calls me Sandy ever since we were kids, and he's the only person who calls me that.

"Good night, Colt, bye."

I bid my goodbyes to him and hung up the phone. I put the phone in the bedside table then lay down beside Luca, facing him. I lovingly caress my son's chubby cheeks and kiss his forehead before I close my eyes and welcomed the dark night.

The next morning, Freya send us to Sunshine Coast building. It is where my tita bought a condo for me. At 1 pm, I drive back to Divino mansion. Dad told me to go back to the mansion when he called me and told me about Ada's engagement.

I parked the car outside the gate. Kotse yun na pinahiram ni Freya sa akin. Hindi na ako nag-abalang ipasok ang kotse since hindi naman ako magtatagal dito.

I got out of the car and open the car door for my son. Yes, I brought Luca with me. Anak ko siya. Wether they accept him or not, I'll fight for him.

I push the door bell button. It was the guard who opened the gate. The guard was shock to see me but I just smiled at him. I remember him, he was our guard bago ako pinalayas. He must have recognized me.

"Ma'am Sandra, bumalik ka, pasok po kayo" the guard said with a smile on his face.

"Salamat po"

I thank him then entered the gate, holding Luca's little hand.

" Niña, halika. Ihatid mo si ma'am Sandra sa loob, ako na magtatapon niyan"

The guard called the maid who's walking towards the gate. May bitbit itong sako ng basura, pero kinuha ito agad ng guard mula sa kanya.

"Ah Sige po mang Paul. Halika na po ma'am." The maid said.

I just nod at her, then followed her to the mansion. The maid must be new since I'm not familiar with her and looks like, hindi din niya ako Kilala.

Sobrang kinakabahan ako habang palapit kami ng mansion. I'm also worried about my son. Kung tatanggapin siya ni Dad, then that's good, pero kung hindi, I'm afraid na masasaktan ang anak ko.

When we reach the door, the maid open the door for us.

"sir, may bisita po kayo."

The maid announced as we entered the living room. Dad was sitting in the sofa, reading a business magazine.

Dad put down the magazine and look intently at me. His face doesn't shows any emotion at all. Hindi ko man lang makita sa mukha niya na natutuwa siya sa pagbalik ko. Kung galit parin siya bakit niya ako pinapabalik?

Mula sa akin, lumipat ang tingin niya sa batang Kasama ko. I suddenly feel nervous. Ang kaninang blangkong mukha ng ama ko ay napalitan ng pagtataka at unti-unting naging galit. Bigla siyang tumayo at lumapit sa akin.

"Dad..."

"Who's this kid?"

He asked, voice with a hint of anger.

" He's Luca, a-nak ko."

I nervously answered him.

" Who's the father? Where is he?"

dad asked again, but this time, I didn't answer and just look at him. I know that he already have an idea about my son's father.

"Is it the man you slept with 5 years ago?"

He asked again, voice getting angrier and angrier.

I slowly nod my head as an answer to his question 'cause I don't have the strength to open up my mouth and say a word.

*Pak*

Gulat akong napatingin kay Dad matapos niya akong sampalin. I wanted to say something but I couldn't find my voice , all I could do is hold my burning cheek.

"Mommy!..."

Luca suddenly exclaimed and hug my waist, trying to protect me from my own father.

"please, don't hurt my mommy."

Luca beg my dad, pero tiningnan lang siya ni Dad ng walang emosyon sa mukha tapos binakik din agad sa akin ang mga tingin niya.

"You!.... you dared to bring a wild seed in to my house!"

Dad angrily shouted at me.

"dad, he's your grandson."

of course, I will defend my son, no matter what.

"Shut up! don't you dared bring that bastard to Ada's party, or else!"

Dad threatened pointing his fingers to Luca. I didn't respond to his threats but hold my son's hand and immediately leave the place.

Pagkapasok ng kotse, hinarap ko agad si Luca.

Nakayuko lang siya, pero alam kong nasasaktan siya.

Matalino ang anak ko, smarter than the other kids at his age. Alam kong naiintindihan niya na galit sa akin si dad at ayaw nito sa kanya.

"Luca..."

I softly called his name. He slowly lifted his head and look directly into my eyes, but his next words made me speechless.

" Don't worry mommy, pagbumalik na si Daddy, dad and I will protect you. No one can hurt you, ever again."
