The evil figure paced back and forth within the confines of the mirror, its eyes burning with anger and frustration. The figure peered out from the mirror, its piercing red eyes fixed on the person standing in front of it. It could see the reflection of the unknown person on the other side, but couldn't make out any details.
The mirror was ancient as the figure had been trapped in for centuries. The only solace being the occasional conversation with those who happened were trying to free her
"Who are you?" the figure growled, its voice deep and menacing it echoed within the mirror.
The person hesitated for a moment "You can just see me as a person with your interest at heart. I could also be a mere wanderer who stumbled upon this mirror,' came the response from the unknown person.
A sinister grin spread across the figure's face. The evil figure scoffed. "You are lying. No one just stumbles upon this mirror. It is enchanted, and only those with dark intentions can enter its realm. Orpheus what do you say does this person have my interests at heart" the figure called to someone.
The male couldn't help but shiver at the figure's ominous presence. "Who are you talking too. Don't try to trick me I know how you end up trapped in this mirror?'
The figure let out a dark chuckle. "Oh, my dear you will soon learn that I did nothing to deserve this fate. I was simply too powerful for the mortal world and my enemies sought to banish me here".
There was a long pause before the unknown person spoke again. "Perhaps you are right. But I have no intentions other than helping you"
The figure narrowed its eyes, suspicion gnawing at him. "Why should I believe you? You could be one of them, trying to deceive me and keep me trapped in here forever" .
The male let out a sigh. "I understand your doubts. But I have no reason to deceive you" he had gone to say something else but was stopped by a voice.
"My lady, you called" said a man walking into the darkness.
The hiding place of the mirror was only lit by the light coming from the mirror.
"Who are you", the man question look at the person who must have been talking to his lady.
"Orpheus, meet our guest what is your name boy".
"I am not a boy and I am known by many names but you can call me Malice".
The mirror suddenly start to c***k. The cracks were small but the three of them know what it meant. "My vessel is starting to awake, you want to prove yourself Malice then make her break faster" the lady said before she turned away and the mirror to foreboding state.

The mirror hung on the wall, its surface dark and foreboding. I seemed to be torn apart. On one hand, I was drawn to the allure of power and wealth. But on the other hand, I knew that dealing with an evil entity like the one in the mirror could have dire consequences.
"I cannot help you", I finally said, my voice firm. "I will not risk unleashing your evil upon the world".
The figure let out a menacing laugh, its eyes flashing with anger. "You foolish mortal, you are a little girl. You will regret this decision. I will find a way out of this mirror and when I do, I will make sure you suffer for your insolence".
With that, the figure fell silent, and the mirror returned to its dark and foreboding state. The woman quickly left the room, grateful to have escaped the clutches of the evil entity. She knew she had made the right decision, for she would rather live a simple and honest life than be consumed by the darkness that lurked within the mirror.
I shot from my bed and let out a deep sigh, relieved that it was just a dream. I sat up on my bed, my heart still racing from the nightmare that had just consumed me only minutes ago. I could feel the cold sweat that dripped down from my forehead. My hands were shaking uncontrollably.
I looked around the room, trying to bring myself back into reality. The familiar sight of my bedroom slowly carmel me down. It had brought me back to the present. The soft white walls, that were filled with posters and artworks and the pile of books on her nightstand.
I reach over for my phone on the bedside table. It read 3 o'clock I didn't need to be up for another four hour but I knew that I wouldn't be able to get back to sleep.
The red book was in my bag next to the bed. Curiosity got the best of me and I reached out to pull the book from its resting place. As I opened it, the musty smell of old paper filled my nostrils and I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. I had always been fascinated by the supernatural, if there was some truth to the stories. The first page reads vampires. Under the tire was a detailed illustration of a vampire, its sharp fangs bared and its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. The caption read, 'The true form of a vampire, as seen by those who have encountered them.'
I flipped through the pages, devouring the information that was laid out before me. The book described vampires as creatures of the night, with an insatiable thirst for blood and an eternal existence. It detailed their origins, their powers and their weaknesses.
According to the book, vampires were once humans who had been turned into immortal beings by a bite from another vampire or they are born with vampire blood. They possessed superhuman strength, speed and agility, making them formidable predators. But the most intriguing aspect of vampires was their ability to control the minds of their victims. They could compel humans to do their bidding, making them forget their encounters with the undead. This power was what made them so dangerous, as they could easily manipulate and deceive their prey.
As I read I didn't realise how much time had come to pass. I jumped when the sound of my alarm scared me.
