Paige “Sage told me that your mother need to stay here in the hospital for them to monitor her health. And for safety purposes if ever she have another attack again.”  I look at Wallace who’s currently looking at my mother’s peaceful face.  My throat is incredibly dry right now. I don’t know what to say. My eyes is swollen because of crying for hours.  Without uttering a word, I nodded. I don’t have energy to complain and explain everything that I want for my mother. I don’t be negative but she’s really getting weak day by day.  Heart is giving up.  “You sure? I can arrange it if you don’t want her to stay here. I can just ask Sage to visit the house from time to time to check her.” I felt the warm hands of Wallace on my shoulders. And just like before, his touch made me relaxed. I squeezed his hand and I smiled at little.  “Yes. If she’s more safe here, let’s settle on that.”  I’ve been thinking, what is the reason of her attack? I haven’t seen Rigo since last night but I’m accusing him or anything. The old man is sweet and gentle. I’m sure he is not reason why this chaos happened again.  Is she thinking about me and Wallace? But, that’s impossible. Rigo told me that my mother believed his alibi about Wallace not being home for a week. He explain to my mom clearly the reason why Wallace is not going home because of his hectic schedule and he said that my mother just nodded.  There’s another reason of her attack and I need to know what it is.  Earlier when she woke up, she’s mumbling about someone. That someone talked to her before her attack. I need to know who is that.  “Wallace? Do you have a contact number of Rigo?”  Wallace is sitting beside me eating the ration given by the hospital staff. I cannot believe he is eating that tasteless vanilla yogurt. Eww.  He turned his gaze to me while nipping the small spoon. Damn that’s hot. “Yeah but my phone is dead. Do you want me to borrow Sage’s phone?”  I shook my head slowly. He nodded his head then continued eating the yogurt. Why the hell is this guy eating that tasteless yogurt like a commercial model? He is just wearing his casual outfit and his hair is messy but he looked like he’s about to shoot a commercial advertisement.  Damn, Wallace. You are the hottest guy in Rome. Effortlessly hot.  I opened the bottle of water to ease the sudden hotness I’m feeling right now. Thank god this water is cold enough to make me feel normal again.  “Babe?”  “Hmm?” I mumbled while drinking. I’m planning to finish this bottle. His endearment to me is slowly sinking in. Sometimes I get disappointed when he only calls me by my name.  “I’m horny.”  “Crap!” I hissed. “What the hell!?” I glared at him.  “What? It’s been a week. Someone misses you.” He winked at me. I shook my head and put the empty water bottle in the trash bin. “You know we have our private bathroom here.”  I chuckled when he winked at me again.  Sometimes, Wallace is scary but sometimes he is like a child. He can be intimidating and cute at the same time. I didn’t know that thing is possible.  “Wallace, my mom is here. We cannot have s*x in here. Control your libido.”  Sage told us that my mother can now rest in her private room. But she needs to rest as much as possible to regain her energy and to get her normal state back.  “Well, we are not making a baby this time. You know just I miss you sex.”  “What? You have different kind of s*x? You’re unbelievable.”  I shook my head.  When I told him that we should check if I’m already pregnant or not, he declined my offer. Well, he didn’t say a word directly because he simply dodged the topic. He just shrugged that time and left.  “Why? We need baby right?”  “I don’t know. Right now, we should focus on your mother’s health. I’m a healthy male, I’m yours. Our baby can wait. Unless, you can’t get enough of me.” He winked again.  Our baby? I chuckled secretly. I wanted so say that that’s only my baby soon, he will be gone in my life. Now that there’s already a potential donor in Sicily, our time together is already ticking.  I should enjoy every second with him before I force to let him go and forget everything we shared.  It will be very hard for me since I’m already attracted to him, but it’ll pass. I loved Craig before, I moved on from him. I can do the same thing with Wallace. The difference is, I don’t love him.  Before I could start talking, the door opened and a lot of gorgeous men entered the room.  His friends.  All of them are smirking, ready to invade the silence in this room. I remember back in the dining hall weeks ago, they are so loud while eating because they are teasing each other back to back.  I cannot choose who is the most savage one because all of them have a good comeback.  “Is she okay? Sage told us she’s in critical condition due to attacks and her age. I’ve sent my men to help the search.” The one who spoke is Damon, the blue eyed guy. I remember him because he was the creepy who told he know me.  “Well, Sage don’t lie when it comes to his patients. I’m sorry, Miss Paige.” Psyche said.  I smiled to him. He is the best friend of Wallace. “It is fine.” I shrugged.  “Have you talked to Rigo? On what really happened?” Leon smiled at me.  Ever since he met my mother, he’s always in Wallace’s house asking my mom to cook for him because he misses a mother’s homemade dish.  Just like Rigo and Wallace, he became pretty close to my mom.  “Nope. Whatever happened before her attack, Rigo will tell us everything.”  “Do you guys think Rigo have something to with this?” Now, that’s Apollo. The youngest looking guy.  “I don’t think so. He take really good care of my mother.” I said. I don’t want them to accuse Rigo of something. He is the nicest guy on earth and I want it to stay that way.  “Besides, Rigo always report everything happening in the house. I need to go home and talk to him.”  As if on cue, My phone rang and I saw Rigo’s name on the screen. I excused myself to answer his call and ask him what really happened.  “Hello, Rigo.” I greeted gently.  “Hello, Miss Paige. How are you?”  “I’m good Rigo. Thank you for asking.”  “How’s Cecil? I’m sorry, Miss Paige. I should have checked on her. I got busy because I was cooking for her meal.”  “She’ll be okay. Anyways, do you mind if I ask you what really happened on the day of her attack? And, I’m not blaming you Rigo. Me and Wallace knew that you have nothing to do with this.”  The last thing I want right now is to make him feel bad about this mess.  “Well, She’s just browsing her phone when I left to cook because she told me, she wanted to cook something inside the Greek Cuisine since Master Wallace requested it. You know, she seldom use her phone the day you and your mother moved in because we are always talking.”  He sighed before speaking again, “Then yesterday afternoon, I excused myself to cook her some snack and ready the tea. She was relaxed all morning until lunch. And then when I comeback, I saw her struggling to breath and she’s caressing her chest so hard.”  I closed my eyes to prevent myself from crying. Hearing how she struggled that moment without anyone on her side twisted my heart.  “Continue please.” I said.  “And then she’s mumbling a name. On my own understanding Miss Paige, someone called her phone. She’s in shocked that time I saw her, Miss.”  Name? Who? Who will call her? Rita? Impossible. She won’t react exaggerated and shocked like that. Every week, Rita is visiting her so that’s impossible.  “Do you remember the name, Rigo?”  “Seth.”  My blood went cold. I froze. My throat went dry and my anger raised in just a span of seconds.  The grudge, the beast inside me awaken by that name.  “Thanks, R-rigo.” I said. My voice is trembling and my hand is shaking.  I think I’m going to kill someone tonight. And it’s Seth.  “Miss Paige? Are you okay?”  I relaxed myself. “Yes. Take care, Rigo.” I dropped the call.  I don’t know what to do. Anger with a dash of hate is eating my whole damn system like it was a plague ready to consume me. The anger I’m feeling right now is enough for me to kill that son of a b***h, Seth and I will not going to feel sorry.  Seth should say goodbye to his d**k licking father because I will end his ass for putting my mother to this state.  My collected myself before heading back to the room. I should play cool. Hopefully, next week, the healthy heart will arrive and Sage and Minrod and they will be able to perform the operation.  I hope so.  “What did Rigo say?” Wallace faced me the moment I stepped inside the room. All of them gorgeous men are looking at me like I’m the main subject for today.  I didn’t get any concern on what I look before but being surrounded by these tall and gorgeous looking men, I felt ugly every seconds.  I glanced at my mother, checking is she’s still unconscious. “Seth called her phone.”  “The stupid brother of yours? The guy whom wished your mother’s death?”  My lips thinned and the anger I was feeling earlier came back. My eyes become furious.  “Yes. But I don’t know what he said to her. Whatever it is, I need to find out.”  “Maybe he startled your mother by the unannounced phone call after all this years?”  Wallace have a point. Maybe my mom got excited and shocked. That stupid b***h ass, Seth is the eldest son after all. And they haven’t talk or see each other in a long time.  But why now? Out of all those times where my mother tried to reach out to him, why now?  “What’s your brother’s last name?”  I looked at Wallace in confuse, “Gagnon. He using our father’s last name.”  When I was born, my father insisted that I should use my mother’s maiden name, he hated me that much that even his surname, he won’t let me use it.  “Damon, contact Cohen, find every single detail of the son of a b***h named, Seth Gagnon.”  Wallace’s facial expression is stoic. Damon saluted then he dialled someone’s number on his phone.  “Yes, sir.” Without asking any questions, he did what Wallace told him to do.  I don’t know why I don’t want to ask Wallace why he wanted to find information about Seth. He knew where he lives right now. Whatever he will do to Seth, I will stood behind his back, supporting him.  Seth piss the f**k out of me anyways. A good solid punch in the face will fill the satisfaction I need.  “Who’s Seth?” Crow asked.  “The reason why my mother is sleeping in that hospital bed.” I sat down near her bed to watch her again.  She’s been sleeping for five hours but that doesn’t concern me at all. She needs to get stronger than ever for her upcoming surgery. She will be needing all the rest she can get.  “Oh, I mastered in mix martial arts, I can help you beat his ass.” That Apollo. I smiled at him.  “I have different kind of daggers in my house.” Leon winked at me.  “I have vacant machines from the winery, we can turn him into wine.” That’s Crow.  “I own different kinds of bombs, where’s his address?” That’s Damon.  “My son is seven years old, he got legos we can shove up in his ass.” Psyche smiled at me. He even showed a piece of lego to me.  I chuckled.  “Or, we can ask Rigo to chop him into pieces and feed him to the lions.” Wallace said as he held my left hand.  They chuckled but some of them grimaced. That’s not a good idea at all. Lions doesn’t deserve to eat trash like him. It will destroy their system.  They are in the middle of chuckling and bantering about stupid nonsense things when I saw my mom’s finger moved. Thinking that my eyes is playing games with me, I didn’t flinched. I continue observing if she’s gonna move again.  And I’m right. She opened her eyes.  “I’ll call Sage.”  I immediately held my mother’s hand. She laid her eyes on me.  “Mom.” I mumbled. She still looks pale from sleeping for hours. She looks dehydrated and her lips is chapped.  She’s mumbling something. “W-w-where i-is...”  She cannot talk properly so I need to listen to her carefully. Her voice is weak plus the thought that her throat is incredibly dry right now.  “S—eth.” She mumbled then she started to have the difficulty in breathing.  “Mom! Calm down!” I exclaimed.  “W—he-re’s S-e-th?”  “Mom, please calm down. You need to calm down.” I pleaded.  She’s trying to catch her breathe and I’m pretty sure, her sight is starting to get dark she struggles to breath plus the tight feeling in her chest.  Tears started to stream down on my face. I couldn’t do anything.  “Where the f**k is Sage!?” I heard Leon’s voice.  We are all panicking but we cannot do anything. We are not doctors. The pacemaker is not helping her right now. She really needs the heart. Pronto!  I felt Wallace’s embraces as Sage attended my mother. But before he could do anything,  the lines on her vital signs monitor flattened.
