Chapter 1: Let’s Get Divorced!
Chapter 1: Let’s Get Divorced!
Late at night, in a villa halfway up the mountain.
Yuna Pearson slowly opened her sleepy eyes and looked around. She heard the sound of flowing water and soon the door was opened.
Revealing a muscular body, Jasper Knight slowly walked towards her step by step. In front of her, he picked up his clothes and pants that were placed on the bedside and put them on slowly. His every move exuded a noble temperament.
Yuna propped herself up and looked at him steadily, her red lips slightly parted: "Jasper, let's get a divorce!"
Jasper looked at her with his dark eyes. After hearing these words, he was stunned for a moment, then he smiled mischievously, and his slender fingers clasped her chin.
"Are you doing this again?"
Yuna lowered her eyes expressionlessly, turned around and took the divorce agreement from the bedside, handed it to him, raised her head and stared at him with her beautiful fox eyes.
A faint smile appeared on her red lips.
"It's been two years, I'm tired of playing, just sign it!
From now on, you don't have to come to this villa again. "
As Jasper gazed at the words on the divorce agreement, which seemed to loom larger before his eyes, his face grew increasingly somber. He reached out and took the document from her hand.
"Want a divorce?"
"Um."
Yuna looked at him expressionlessly and hummed lightly.
Before she finished her words, her slender arms were suddenly restrained. Jasper lifted her hands above her head. His sinister eyes were fixed on her plain little face, and he spoke softly.
"Say it again..."
"She's about to be released from prison. Let's get a divorce! I'll help you."
Yuna seemed not to notice the man's vicious gaze, her face remained cold as she spoke.
When she spoke, there was no emotion at all, just like a mechanical voice.
Jasper's gloomy phoenix eyes moved slightly when she said the word "she". Although it was less than half a second, Yuna still noticed it.
She sneered in her heart. In the past two years, he had worked hard to help her reduce her sentence, and now she finally got what she wanted.
"Yuna Pearson, you were the one who started this game, but I have the final say on when it ends. Forget about divorce!"
As he spoke, he suddenly bit her lips hard. Yuna felt pain and frowned slightly, but there was still no emotion on her face.
She stared blankly at the huge crystal chandelier above her head. She subconsciously clenched her hands hanging on the bed sheet and spoke in a cold voice.
"It's already one in the morning. You never stay here overnight."
In the two years since they got married, they have had this routine once or twice a month.
He comes here in a hurry and then drove away. He never spent the night here.
Hearing this, he stiffened for a moment, then curled his lips into a smile and slowly leaned close to Yuna's ear.
"If I remember correctly, Pearson's company recently had a project whose funding chain was cut off..."
This sentence defeated Yuna completely. She clenched the bed sheet tightly, slowly loosened her hands, and then slowly closed her eyes...
