End Of Routine
Olivia
"Wake up" the mystery voice said. "Olivia wake up, you're going to be late for work."
I opened my eyes to peep at the alarm clock. It was 9:30 so I still had time.
"I'm up mystery man." I said as I rolled over.
"Ms. Smith you sure know how to break a guy's heart and hurt his ego." John said while pretending to be wounded.
"I'll make it up to you later, Mr. Icon." I said as I started to get work.
"Do that mean you coming home early for game day?" he asked. "The Cowboys and Patriots are playing around 2 pm."
"I get off at 12 so I should be able to make in before that." I said while getting dressed.
"Good that way you can watch your second favorite team lose." he said with humor in his voice.
"Baby you know that the cowboys pay to win."
"No they don't!"
"Yes they do, and the Patriots might lose but at least we go down with a fight as well as honor."
"You just hate that they lose to us all the time!" he exclaimed as he threw a pillow.
I caught the pillow and threw it back.
"You are a sore loser." I said with a little anger
"I'm all man baby, there are no losers over this way." he said while flexing his muscles
We both laughed while I grabbed my purse and made my way out the door.
"Why do they want you at work if you are getting off early?"
"It's a routine they have us to do." I explained "Once a month they tell us to come in to check on our work as an insurance to not messing anything up."
"Oh seem like they don't have any faith in their workers."
"Well while that might be true I got to go."
"Alright, I love you!"
"I love you too."
Christian
"Ben could you go to star bucks?"
"Yes sir Mr. Fieldsworth."
Star bucks latte is the only thing I look forward to every morning. Especially on Sundays and Mondays. They are the worse part of the week.
As I made my way in a small figure bumped into me. She almost spilled her latte but thankfully her reflexes kicked in.
"s**t I'm so sorry!"
"No it's fine."
"I'm sorry really I am." the five foot five figure said.
"Are you for bumping into me or almost spilling you latte on me."
She blushed and said, "Both."
I chuckled at how red she turned and how easily. She redder than a ripe tomato on a summer day.
"It quite alright Ms. ..."
"Olivia Smith." she said while shaking my hand "And you are?"
"Christian Fieldsworth."
"Nice to meet you and sorry about the almost spill but I have to go now."
"Nice to meet you too and have a good day Ms. Smith."

I was now at work making my way to my office. I thought I would die of embarrassment bumping into that Mr. Fieldsworth. If John would've seen me he would've laughed. He always said I was clumsy. I'm always having near accidents. I'm thankful that I don't have to see that Mr. Feildsworth again.
I was 30 minutes into stacks of paper files and hard working when my assistant came in.
"Mr. Wayne wants to see you." Riley Foreman informed me.
"Okay."
I made my way to the 12th floor hoping that he wouldn't talk my ears off about being his right hand, advisor, and go to guy.
"Sir."
"Have a seat Smith."
"You wanted to see me."
"Yes, there is some files gone missing from your department."
"Oh well I can investigate on how and where it went."
"No need to because I know how and where it went."
"Oh well that's great."
"You're fired"
Christian
I was furious at the way my first company was running. People were stealing money, selling information, sleeping with other staff, and all the other works. I worked to hard to let it be ruined and I be damned if their aren't any changes.
"Get me Wayne."
Ten minutes later.
"Yes sir Me. Fieldsworth."
" You have better fired every goddam slacker, sleeze ball, skank, and traitor out of here."
"Yes sir as you demanded sir."
Good thing he knew I wasn't asking.
"Do you know why I am here Wayne?"
"No sir I do not."
"This is my first and main company. I've been out making sure my other companies were prospering since December and it's almost May. I come back to find out that is has been going down like a mammoth in tar on a summer day in the desert."
I'm truly so-.."
"And whats worst I left you in charge thinking you can handle it. I was wrong."
"I will fix sir."
"I know you will."
"Yes sir and i'll get right on it."
"Bring me the names of everyone you've fired."
"Yes sir, anything else sir."
"Fix your foolish misdeeds and do it quick."
"Yes sir, I will get on it right away sir."
