They continued their search the next day and Akira and Jude were both summoned to the palace as news had reached Alpha Theo about a certain person that sells eye-catching shoes and he wanted to see for himself..

Akira was scared as she felt that she will be likely to get caught if Alpha Theo finds out her true identity and then she felt reluctant in going.. Jude agreed to her decision and they both decided not to go to the palace..

Alpha Theo became impatient,he became angry as he had been neglected by a common stranger..He immediately sent for the arrest of both Akira and Jude..

"Why didn't you come to the palace when I summoned you."Alpha Theo asked authoritatively..

Akira and Jude became mute as they didn't have an excuse for his question.. They just stared at him blankly..

"Speak up!"Alpha Theo shouted..

"We.. We are so sorry sir."Jude stammered..

Alpha Theo looked at them properly as he was trying to know if he knew them before..

"You. "Alpha Theo said,pointing in Akira's direction..

''Have we met before? "He asked.

Akira became scared and her heart pounded so fast like though it wanted to fall out.. Her legs began to tremble..Jude saw it and he decided to come to her rescue..

"No Alpha,she is my mother..We journeyed to this place to sell our shoes as we are poor and we do not have money to survive,it's just our shoes that gives us food to eat."Jude interrupted.

Akira sighed a breath of relief as she had been saved by Jude and she thanked him using her eyes..Alpha Theo knew he had seen her before as His instincts are always right but he decided to let it go.

''Can I see the shoes you sell? "Alpha Theo asked.

Jude immediately brought out the shoes from his sack and showed them to Alpha Theo.. Alpha Theo was pleased with what he was seeing as the shoes were really catchy, so he decided to buy more as he loved them..

"Try them on me."He commanded..

As Jude was about to try them on him he was immediately stopped by Alpha Theo..

"Not you.. I want her to try them on me. "Alpha Theo said, pointing at Akira.

''She is just an old woman, I don't want to stress her.. I can do it. ''Jude pleaded.

Alpha Theo insisted that Akira put on the shoe for him..Akira approached him, the more steps she took, the more her heart pounded loudly.. As she got close to him she knelt down, Alpha Theo looked at her suspiciously and he raised his legs..

Suddenly she saw the mark on his left foot which looked exactly like the one she saw in the ancient magical pot.. She wanted to shout but she kept it cool to avoid her being exposed..

"Is there any problem?"Alpha Theo asked..

"Not at all. ''Akira said, forcing a fake smile..

Jude offered to help and he also saw the mark on Alpha Theo feet.. He was happy as the culprit had been caught..He immediately wore the shoes on Alpha Theo..Alpha Theo stood up, he admired the shoes as they were actually fine and looked durable..

"I would buy more of these shoes."Alpha Theo said..

"Thank you very much Sir."Akira and Jude choroused..

''You can leave..one of my guards will pay you on your way out."Alpha Theo said..

Akira and Jude thanked him and they still stood staring at him with pitiful look

"Is there a problem? "Alpha Theo asked as he was surprised..

"No sir,We do not have anywhere to go because we are unable to afford a place to stay.. Can you give us a room in your palace to stay for some time and we would pay you by doing the chores."Akira said in a shaky voice..

Jude was surprised at her words and he wanted to know her plans.. He touched her as a sign and Akira responded with a confident look.. Alpha Theo became speechless and he didn't know what to say, although he needed a maid to do the chores.. He accepted their request and commanded one of his guards to take them to a vacant room.. They thanked him..

"I cannot believe Alpha Theo is actually the Culprit. "Akira thought aloud.

"He actually stole the Claw of Ancients and he put the blame on me?.How could he even do such. "Akira added..

"That is how life is, you have to take it you see it. "Jude said as he arranged the remaining shoes in the sack..

"What do we do to these."Jude said as he pointed towards the sack of shoes..

"Nothing, we have gotten who the culprit is.. This is actually the least of our problems now."Akira said, as she was still in shock..

"So what is the next step? "Jude asked curiously..

Akira thought deeply, trying to get a perfect plan to secure the Claw of the Ancient from Alpha Theo and clearing her name..

"We working as maids in this palace will gain us assess to all rooms in the palace."Akira said glaring at Jude

"We need to find the Claw of Ancients by all means,as Alpha Theo will possess all the powers in it by the fourth full moon,"Akira added.

"If he became possessed of it,he would be indestructible."Akira concluded..

Jude thought of how powerful this claw could be and he wanted to see if it had such powers..

"What does this Claw of Ancients look like?"Jude asked..

Akira gave him a better description of it and he was now convinced..

"We just need to be careful so as not to be caught because if we are,you already know what will happen. "Jude said..

Akira nodded as she locked the door removing her costume one after the other...

"It feels so good to be me. "Akira said as she laid on the bed..

Jude laughed at what she said and he reduced his voice so as not to attract the attention from the guards...
