CRUISIEN'S POV I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. My senses aren't fully awakened yet so I can only stare at it. I frowned as I realized how dull it looks like. I rolled my eyes and turn my head at the window on the right side of my room. It's still dark on the outside. I looked at my alarm clock on my bedside table to know what time is it. It says five o'clock. I heaved a sigh and gets up on my bed. I silently fixed my bed as well as the pillows. After a while, I went into my bathroom to wash my face and have my teeth, brushed. "I'm pale again…" heaving a sigh, I rolled my eyes as I stared at my pale complexion. I shook my head and just stared at my outfit for today. White loose-shirt tucked in on my black skirt and black flip-flops. I made my way into the door of my room when I seemed to forget something. I looked back at my vanity table to look for it. I smiled and jogged towards the way. "Got yah!" I exclaimed as I reach for my white ribbon-like headband. One last glance at the mirror, I'm good to go. "Good morning, Nana!" I greeted the old woman who works for my father in terms of doing household and such. She smiled at me warmly and said, "Good morning, Sien" I smiled and walked past her. I made my way through our glass stairway. I am not rich, my parents are. Walking down, I nearly bumped into Tari, one of the maids here. "Hi, Tari! Good morning" I greeted her. Tari only smiled and walked past me. I bit my lower lip to stop myself to talk back. For a maid, she has some guts, geez! I take a deep breath and went into the kitchen. "Mr. Chef! Good morning!" I said approaching. I take a seat in one of the chairs at the dining table. I smiled as I didn't hear any greetings from him. I understand him though. One time, when I asked him why he can't even have time to greet me, he said and I quoted, "Food is more important. Any disturbance is not allowed", say, what is his problem with me?! I take a deep breath. I lift my head when someone placed a cup of milk on the table, in front of me. "Oh, Sera—"I was about to greet her when she smiled and turned her back to continue what she was doing earlier. "Do they have to ruin my good mood today?" I murmured to myself. They really can't show some respect, huh? The heck? I am the daughter of my mother and father yet they are treating me like trash. Like, I am a nuisance to them. Geez! They're making my blood, boil first thing in the morning. I take a sip on my glass of milk as I leaned in my seat and crossed my arms. "They are really stressing me out," I thought as I shook my head. "Mr. Chef! Are they already gone?" I asked him, referring to my parents. "No, they're still alive," he said in a monotone voice. "Ah, so they already left" I mumbled as I nod my head not minding his sarcastic remarks. After a while, they served me my breakfast. I smiled at them whenever they placed something on the table. And guess what? They only ignored me to the fullest. They have some problems with me. "Weird" I mumbled again as I take a spoonful of food in my mouth. Munching the food, I tilted my head as I remembered, since time immemorial; they always treat me like this. So, why am I not used to it already? I shook my head as I continued to eat. When I'm done eating my breakfast, I stood up and was about to carry my plate into the sink when Sera took it from me. "We're okay here. Just rest somewhere" I raised a brow but said nothing. I turn my back and went out of the kitchen. "That was…" I heaved a sigh and went into my room. I'm stuck here again. Mother and Father forbid me to go out of the house. I don't really remember why they are doing this. Preventing me to go out, not having fun is really a useless argument for me to bring it up for them. They will only give me a reason like; we don't want you to get hurt just to avoid such further discussion. It doesn't make any sense! "Now, what to do?" I asked myself and stared at my window. I am sitting on my bed. I stand up and went into the veranda of my room. Upon opening the sliding door which is then connected in my room, the warm yet calming breeze gazed my skin. "Refreshing!" I exclaimed as I smiled sadly. I can only do this when I'm alone. All of my actions are being recorded and submitted to my dear parents. Tari, Sera, even Nana. They are all reporting to my parents. In short, my room is all I have in this house. It's my comfort zone. I heaved a sigh and went inside. "This day should be a nice day…" I murmured and looked at my reflection in the mirror. I pouted and just lay on my bed. I rolled side by side to ease my boredom. Yesterday I tried to practice some arts, like painting, drawing and all that concerns in arts but I really suck on it. Now, boredom is striking again. "Geez! I don't want to do anything. Mother, father, just let me go out for once" I am crazily mumbling nonsense words here. "CRUISIEN GRAY!!" I abruptly sat up on my bed when I heard my father's furious voice. What the hell is happening? Why is he furious? What did I do this time? "CRUISIEN!" I startled and shuddered when the door of my room burst out with such a strong force. Father's fuming figure appeared in my sight. I even saw Mother at his back, crossing her arms as her brows are as high as the highest mountain on Earth. "Father, why are you shouting?" I asked him just to be sure. "What did I tell you?" he asked. I furrowed my brows and tilted my head. There is only one thing that he keeps on telling me. "Not to go out without asking any permission to the both of you?" I asked, still creasing my forehead in confusion. I don't remember I violated some rules. "And what did you do? Tell me?!" I gulped as I tried to remember if I did something wrong but I can't. I held my head as it starts to ache, real bad. "Don't start me with your act. Why did you disobey me? Huh? Do you really want to be locked up here all your life?" he asked, he's breathing heavily. I looked at my mother to ask for help. But she only shook her head and look away. I glanced at my father. He's really mad. But I don't remember that I did something wrong. "Father, I…" I couldn't finish what I want to say when he turned his back on me and went out of my room. Mother just stared at me for a second and she followed Father, leaving me all alone in my room again. "What a mess" my ears perked up when I heard a voice. I looked at my door and saw Sera as she turns her back to leave. "What the hell is her problem?!" I exclaimed and heaved a sigh. I sat on my bed as I cross my arms. I tilted my head as I stared at the floor. Our house is full of footages. I wonder why they didn't check it first before shouting his ass out. "Weird…" I mumbled and looked up but my eyes caught something. I raised a brow as I smirked. "Gotcha!" I exclaimed as I stood up and went near to it. "Let's see…" I said and stared at the thing I caught a glimpse of. It was blinking a red dot. Wondering what is it? "Speaking of… CCTV footage can be a good escape, huh?"
