Chapter Sixteen I breathed a sigh of relief when Ginny knocked on my door late Sunday afternoon. I told her I’d be cooking most of the day and to come whenever she wanted. As the day wore on, I convinced myself she wasn’t going to show up at all. The sun was dipping toward the ocean when I opened the door. It framed her perfectly, highlighting her dark skin and setting off the orange flowers on her dress.
