Chapter Nine
I was dying to know what Ginny and Kapena were talking about, but I couldn’t hear s**t over Louise’s whiney voice in my ear.
“You shouldn’t be here alone,” she said in a voice she thought was sexy. At least, I hoped she thought that. To me, it was grating over my spine like nails down a chalkboard.
“I’m not alone. I’m with friends.”
