THEO'S P.O.V "It will take more than that to break my baby," I smirked. It was very entertaining to watch her reaction change, but something was wrong, she didn't seem alright. Her eyes widened and she ran out of the classroom. I followed her to make sure she was alright. She entered the girl's bathroom and I waited outside. "Hey, are you ok?" I asked before opening the door. She was washing her face. "Yeah, I just felt sick and...and," she stopped and looked at herself in the mirror with horror in her eyes. Was my joke that bad? "What the hell?" She whispered looking at herself and started rinsing her face again. "What's wrong?" I asked. "My face is what's wrong!" She yelled out frustratingly. I looked at her face, it seemed perfectly fine to me. "Why is it purple?" She screamed again. "Your face isn't purple, what are you talking about?" I looked at her confused. "You don't see it? It's freaking purple, oh my god! It won't come off." She yelled and looked back at herself in the mirror. She made her way towards the paper towels but she stopped halfway through. She turned to face the stalls, her face was pale and covered in fear. Her hands started to shake as she wrapped them around herself. She stood there shocked for a second but she opened her mouth and closed it like she was about to say anything. "J-Johnny?" She called out with fear in her voice. I was confused as hell. Who is she talking to? I don't see anyone... "B-But y-your in j-juvy," Some tears started running down her cheeks. This is creeping me out... I walked to her and stood in front of her, blocking her view of sight from whatever was making her cry. "Who are you talking to?" I asked with my hands on her shoulder. "Don't you see him?" I looked back to where she was looking and I saw none. "There is none Mel," I told her. "B-But he's there..." Her voice trailed off and she looked behind me. "None is there Mel, are you feeling alright?" I asked and she looked back at me, shaking her head. "Not really, I have a stomach ache and my face is purple," "Your face isn't purple," She looked at me confused and looked back at the stalls. "H-He's gone..." She said and then turned towards the mirror. "It's gone," She said quietly, clearly not understanding what just happened. "I think I'm going crazy," I took a step towards her and turned her around to face me. "I think we should go to the nurse's office," She nodded and I followed her outside, holding her by her shoulders. Her body was shaking and I felt as if she was going to collapse any second now. She froze by the lockers and looked straight with fear in her eyes. "J-Johnny?" She said before she fell to the ground. I was quick enough to catch her. I picked her up and carried her to the nurse's office. "Oh god Mr. Grey, what did you do to the poor girl?" Asked Mrs. Lee, I rolled my eyes at her question. I always get into some fights and so I'm sent to the nurse's office so she could fix me up. It's not really that of a big deal but the teachers don't want me walking around with a bloody shirt. Do I get expelled? No, I get detentions, my aunt who is the principle of this school, manages to get me out of most of the suspensions. "Lay her on the bed please and tell me what happened?" I did as I was told and laid Mel on the white covered bed. She looked worse than death itself. "She threw up in the bathroom and she... well...sees things that aren't there, we decided to go to the nurse but then she fainted," I told her. "Mr. Grey please sit in the waiting area," She told me but I was about to argue back but decided to wait outside. My job is to protect Mel, and now she is passing out... I waited a couple of minutes until Mrs. Lee came out. "Pick her up, the ambulance is on its way," Without question, I picked her up and followed Mrs. Lee to the school parking lot. "What is wrong with her?" I asked. "She's been poisoned," "Possibly chemical poisoning," She added. "Is it serious?" I looked down at Mel as she lay in my hands with a pained expression on her face. "Maybe, maybe not..." I heard the ambulance siren so I quickly fast walked to there. I walked towards it and placed Mel into one of those bed trolleys. I watched as the ambulance drove away into the distance. They wouldn't let me go with them since I wasn’t family. I hope you'll be alright Mel.
