Asteria Celeste Averix Levington POV
The next day..
I woke up with someone running over me. It wasn't heavy, and it seemed to be really careful not to hit my stomach. The baby appears to be safe.
"Esteria, wake up," exclaimed the loudly speaking pillow. What's the reason behind this? And why am I feeling someone kissing my cheek?
"Esteria, wake up," the pillow exclaimed loudly. My eyes widened as someone kissed my lips. What an extraordinary pillow indeed! "W-who?"
"Oh, why do you look so shocked?" she asked me. So, she's the one I'm referring to as a pillow? Asteria, what kind of thought process is that?
"I thought it was just a pillow," I confessed, blushing. She chuckled softly in response.
"I'm a pillow? Your wife is far too beautiful and handsome to be just a pillow," she remarked, pointing to herself. Really? She even started her own bank.
"Yes," I teased. The smile on her face vanished, and she looked at me with a mischievous glare. Then, she stood up and extended her hand to help me upright.
I nodded in acceptance and followed her lead as we walked together, heading towards the kitchen.
"What do you want to eat?" she asked after pulling me to the chair. I paused for a moment, considering what exactly I wanted to eat.
"I want pancakes, hotdogs, ham, and eggs," I requested, listing several food items. She nodded and looked at me before speaking.
"Alright, I'll cook. You just stay here and rest," she said softly. I held her hand and nodded in agreement, appreciating her care.
"Fried rice too, please. With lots of garlic," I added with a big smile, hoping she would grant my request.
She smirked at my reaction, clearly amused by my enthusiastic request.
"Alright, I'll cook. You just stay here and rest," she said softly. I held her hand and nodded in agreement, appreciating her care.
"You look like a tomato," she teased, observing my red face, and I couldn't help but playfully tease her in return.
"Just cook over there. Baby and I are hungry," I instructed, and she nodded, playfully saluting me. I sat and watched her as she continued cooking, admiring her beautiful body, her lovely face, and the gestures that made me fall in love with her.
"I might melt," I joked, avoiding looking directly at her, feeling embarrassed that she caught me staring at her.
"No," I replied, feeling a bit guilty for lying, pretending that I wasn't really staring at her earlier.
"It's cooked," she said happily as she placed the food in front of me. Then, she sat across from me. I picked up a piece of ham and dipped it in soy sauce before taking a bite.
"Is it delicious?" she asked, seeming surprised.
"Ah-uh," I replied with a nod, indicating that it was indeed delicious. After finishing my meal, I watched as Kian ate.
"Thank you, Kian," I expressed my gratitude once again. She looked at me, perhaps touched by my appreciation.
"For what?"
"Because you cooked for me that exactly what I wanted to eat," I answered with a smile. She returned the smile, appreciating the sentiment.
"Estria, it's my duty to serve the one I love," she said, causing my cheeks to flush red once again.
"Don't pretend like you're not excited," she teased back, playfully poking fun at me.
"I'm not excited," I insisted, trying to maintain composure despite the playful banter.
"Hey, why are you blushing?" she asked, noticing my flushed cheeks.
"Because I'm feeling hot," I joked, fanning myself with my hand to emphasize the playful remark.
"Because I'm hot, that's why you're feeling hot," she replied with a hint of arrogance, continuing the playful banter.
"Really, huh?" I asked, joining in the laughter, enjoying the light-hearted exchange.
"Of course," I agreed, smiling. This is fun. Teasing each other like this, it's like we're really happy together.
"Estria," she called out to me, her voice soft and affectionate.
"Uhmm?"
"I love you," she said, causing my face to turn red for the third time, overwhelmed by her declaration of love.
"I love you, too," I stammered, feeling shy but also incredibly excited to reciprocate her feelings.
Sorin Alvarez POV
"Why did you send me here?" Kate asked me mockingly as she entered my office. I had tasked her with another assignment, so she knew she had more work to do.
"I'll use you in my plan," I replied, sounding somewhat bored as I contemplated how to involve Kate in my next endeavor.
"What are you planning?" Kate asked, her curiosity piqued.
"You'll pretend," I replied, keeping the details of the plan to myself for the time being.
"Pretend?" Kate questioned, seeking clarification. I nodded and approached her, whispering the details of the plan into her ear.
"What?!" Kate asked in shock, reacting to the unexpected nature of the plan.
"I pretend?!" Kate exclaimed, still surprised by the idea. I nodded in confirmation, indicating that she would indeed be a part of the plan.
"The moment you pretend, their relationship will be ruined," I stated, my lips forming an evil smile as I contemplated the outcome of the plan.
"What if Kian doesn't believe?" Kate asked, expressing concern about a potential obstacle in the plan.
"Well, that's not my problem. Remember your mission, Kate," I reminded her firmly, noticing the hint of nervousness in her demeanor as she swallowed.
"I'll try my best," she said, determined to fulfill her role in the plan despite the challenges ahead.
"Don't just try, make sure it happens," I emphasized as Kate left. Now, Kian and Asteria could enjoy their time together, but I knew that in the next few days, I would ensure that we would have our own fun together.
Aeris Levington POV
I held my breath and stared at the ceiling of my room at home, unsure if Lucian would be happy with my decision. Part of me hoped she wouldn't, even though deep down I knew she would approve.
It was all such a mess. Finally, I stood up and left my room, knocking on Mom's door before entering. Inside, I found Mom calmly combing her hair.
"Mom," I called for her attention. She looked at me and smiled, patting the space beside her, indicating for me to sit down.
"Yes, baby?" Mom responded as I sat next to her, wrapping my arms around her in a hug.
"Mom, I think I need to do this," I said sadly, expressing my inner turmoil to her.
"What is it, baby?" Mom asked, surprised by my solemn tone.
"I don't want to marry Lucian anymore," I confessed with my eyes closed, feeling the weight of my decision. Hoping for understanding, I awaited Mom's response. She gently held my chin, a gesture of comfort and support.
"Why? Don't you love her?" Mom inquired, her voice filled with concern and curiosity, wanting to understand the reason behind my decision.
"I don't want to marry someone who doesn't like me," I admitted, tears flowing down my cheeks as I revealed the pain of realizing Lucian's lack of affection towards me.
"Also, Lucian will be happy with my decision," I added, realizing the absurdity of my words as they contradicted my true feelings. Oh my God! What am I saying? It's against my will. I feeling conflicted and distressed. Mom sighed, understanding the complexity of the situation.
"Alright, I'll tell Lucian's parents," I affirmed, hugging Mom tightly, knowing she would support me despite her strict demeanor.
"Thank you, Mom," I said gratefully, standing up and bidding farewell to her. Heading to my room, I grabbed my cell phone before settling into bed for the night.
Kate Brillantes POV
I'm currently at the mall, searching for items to use in Sorin's scheme. I wonder what else that girl is plotting? She's quite bothersome.
"That's why I haven't been able to catch a glimpse of Yusei, my love," I murmured to myself as I entered the shop, determined to find what I needed for Sorin's plan.
Kian Calen Levington POV
Estria and I are currently in the living room, seated next to each other on the sofa.
"I thought you would never come back to me, Estria," I said, my words tinged with a hint of lingering concern. I knew I would revisit the issue again because I couldn't forget about it.
"I'll be back, don't worry. I'm just on vacation for a while," she answered with a laugh, reassuring me with her light-hearted tone.
"I love you so much, Estria," I confessed, noticing her face turning red from my heartfelt words.
"I'm very annoyed with you, Kian," I retorted, squinting my eyes as I directed a playful glare at her.
"Sorry," she said, making a peace sign. It was really cute. I quickly kissed her on the lips as a gesture of forgiveness.
"Apology accepted," I promised with a smile, grateful for the reconciliation.
"Kian!" she exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise.
"I love you," she smiled, despite her face turning red at my words.
"I love you, too," I responded, and in that moment, I leaned in and kissed her passionately on the lips.
"That's cheeky," I laughed at her playful remark.
"Oh, what are you laughing at?" she asked with a flat tone, feigning seriousness.
"And now you're laughing at me?" she asked, her expression turning into a slight frown.
"Sorry," I said, feeling remorseful, and I reached out to hug her, wanting to reassure her of my sincerity.
"Estria, you are my everything," I expressed sincerely, wanting her to understand the depth of my feelings.
"You're corny," she laughed and teased, but deep down, I knew she truly appreciated it.
"I'm still going to play drama," I said, pouting slightly, feeling like a child being told she couldn't do what she wanted.
"I love you," she promised sincerely, reassuring me of her affection.
"I love you too," I replied, reciprocating her affection with equal sincerity.
