Their appearance is not far from each other because they look very alike even though they are of different sexes, male and female. There are other twins who are of different sexes, but they are not alike, but they are very alike. Their face shape, skin color, and they are both beautiful and handsome. Meanwhile, their height is different because Caelan is taller and a little fatter.
"Sister, I want milk." Kade approached me with a baby bottle.
I frowned at him because I didn't wake up from what I did.
He is Kade, 5 yrs old and the youngest of our siblings. He is a naughty boy but he is handsome, but he is also very fond of drinking milk in a baby bottle. He is used to this situation and we can't stop him even though we refuse him several times and let him cry so he won't drink milk in the bottle but it is really difficult to be the youngest, he wants it and he is always being followed.
"Kade, you're a big boy now. Just drink in the glass." I told him when he immediately approached me, he sat on the floor and stared at me angrily.
"You always tell me that I am already big even though I am not really. If I am already big, why am I not like brother Caelan and sister Candies?" He asked angrily and looked at the twin who is eating now.
"Those two are your examples," I pointed to the two. "I'm in front of you." I said, irritated, I wanted to slap him but he was young.
"Are you big?" He asked that I was getting more and more annoyed.
Mom and twins laughed at me but I was angry.
It's not fair because I'm not tall but it's not right to tell me the truth. It hurts my heart, haha.
"You just tinker with your sister to get rid of that confusion." Caelan ordered me with a smile.
I was angry to follow, but I was bullied and then I was ordered.
"Oh, you. You talk to him. Sing it in your mouth!" I said after I made a milk and gave it to Jade with anger.
He was happy to take it before running into the living room to lie on the chair.
"Sit down here Winter and eat. You'll also wash the plate." Mom called me.
"Mom, am I going to do it? What other bad luck will come this day?" I asked, anger in my mouth, before sitting beside my mom.
"Are you unlucky again?" She asked, her voice showing concern.
They stopped eating and sadly looked at me.
Sh*t, they heard it.
How do I tell them that I have no job anymore?
How do I help them find a job?
I'm the only one they depend on, and then I lose my job!
Losing a job is an event that can cause worry and anxiety to an individual. It not only brings financial stress to a person, but it can also have a deep impact on the whole family. It is really difficult when you are the sole provider for your family and suddenly lose your job. You can't help but feel a sense of worthlessness and how you will cope with it. Often, you will feel sad and it will create tension within your family.
"I got fired from my job," I said sadly.
I could see the surprise and disappointment on their faces about what happened to me.
Just like them, I was disappointed because I had been working hard there for almost a month but it turned out to be all for nothing. I thought I could help my twin siblings with their tuition fees but apparently not. I thought I could buy Kade's school supplies when he starts school but not yet. I thought I could give money to mom again to buy our necessities but I was wrong. Mom's income from selling fish at the market is not enough, so we are struggling to meet our needs.
I don't know the reason for their decision, but I still hope that something new will come that I will wholeheartedly accept.
"Ohh shucks, you deserve it!" Candies said jokingly, but we didn't find it funny. "W-what I mean is... she deserves a new job hehe," she added before making a peace sign.
"It's just right, dear! Your salary at your previous job was small and you were always working overtime. Just look for another job," mom said before patting me on the back.
"But it's not that easy to find a job," I said sadly to her.
It's really hard to find a job, and there are many requirements they ask for before you can pass.
"I agree with my sister mom, as if it's something that will just be given to us like food," Candies agreed with what I said.
"Tsk, here comes the 'hardworking' one talking," Caelan said with emphasis but Candies gave him a look.
"Let's just eat," I invited them. "We're in front of food so we shouldn't have any negative vibes. Let's think about my job loss later after we finish eating," I said with a smile.
They agreed with me so we ate. Afterwards, I cleared the dishes and it started to rain.
Our dishwashing area outside the house has a roof, but it's a bit rundown so I decided to wash the dishes. I wanted to feel the unfortunate raindrops that came, so I volunteered to wash the dishes.
After ten minutes of washing dishes, I took a shower.
"Sister, brother Jimmy messaged me. He's looking for you, he said that he messaged you earlier but you're not responding," Candies said as she peeked into my room.
"Just tell him I lost my job, he already knows that." I said while combing my hair.
"Tsk, I'm being made a messenger," she grumbled before leaving.
I just laughed at her grumpiness, she's always like she's on her period haha.
