By her reckoning, based on ship’s time, an entire day had gone by, but the effect of time dilation meant that more time had passed on Concordia. To work out the duration of her journey from the perspective of the Concordians, she would need to ask Quinn the distance and speeds the ship had traveled. Her Fila friend was forced to regularly slow down the ship to allow her to recover from the effects of acceleration. Traveling continuously at its top speed was more than any human body could endure.
