"Whip her again!" Alpha Derrick ordered, his eyes blazing with rage that seemed like if he had the power, he would burn princess Hazel to the ground. "Alpha, if we whip her one more time, she might die," One of the guards said, but Alpha Derick insisted. "Are you following her orders or mine? WHIP THAT b***h AGAIN!" Alpha Derick barked, his voice reverberating through the dungeon. Another moan of pain escaped through Princess Hazel's lips, keeping her mouth shut even as her body tore open from the countless whips on her body. "Hmph, you'd better do it, before he decides to kill you for having a mind of your own," Princess Hazel muttered, smirking mockingly at Alpha Derick. The wet scary sound of the whip smashing on her back sent a sickening silence through the room and chills through everyone's skin. The Alpha stared at her, eyes cold and fiery, burning for more. More pain should be inflicted, more trauma should be obtained. The Alpha didn't even flinch a bit when he sent a rocket strenght slap across her face, pulling out one of her teeth as she spat painfully on the floor. Her eyes didn't move, her body empty and agonizing but her eyes still burning with an anger and pride over every other. “Finally stopped barking, huh?” Alpha Derick sneered, stepping closer. His boots echoed darefully on the stone floor as he went down before her to take look at her face, lifting her chin with his claws, striping a cut on her neck. “Don’t worry, I'll break you. Eventually.” Hazel spat a glob of blood toward his boot. “I’d rather die than bow to a coward like you.” Alpha Derick giggled, and then his lips curled into a slow, evil smile. "After round three, let's see if you're still this brave." His fingers snapped. The guards stood straight waiting for the Alpha's orders. He moved his fingers towards the guards and they instantly brought Hazel up to stand. Her trembling breath and legs made it difficult to execute but she couldn't afford looking weak infront of the Alpha. Nothing was more important to her than the pride she had to hoist for her people and her power. "String her up," he said icily. Her limbs and wrists were roughed and swollen. The guards pulled her upward to leave two inches between her feet and the floor then tied her wrists on the same swollen spots. Hazel observed and remained silent, hissing and rubbing her teeth from one pain to another. “Bring the irons.” Hazel didn’t flinch. Not when the iron rod sizzled in the brazier, glowing orange. Not even when they pressed it against her side. But her body couldn't bare it. A raw scream tore out of her throat, echoing through the dungeon like a dying horse. The unbearable pain strikes through her flesh and shaked up her bones. Her screams vividly increased, with each turned, she Screamed vengeance, she screamed justice, she screamed truth for her people. Like a warrior before a war, like a winner after the fall. Still, she laughed. Derick’s eyes narrowed. “You think this is funny?” he snarled. “I think you’re desperate,” Hazel rasped, sweat pouring down her face. “You’re afraid of me… of what I know. Torturing me won’t change the truth, you are a demon and maybe you don't really deserve that His wolf hand slapped across her face and clawed on her shoulder. She hung limply for a moment and hissed for a short period, blood dripping from her shoulder, before raising her eyes to the Alpha showing a sick smile on her face through the cracked teeth. Another order was given. The guards brought out the water barrel and ropes. “Hold her mouth shut,” one guard muttered grimly, and they did—tight, unforgiving hands on her face. The waterboarding began. They soaked her head in a bucket full of water and maintained it still for a moment before letting her out. She fought, coughed and shocked in there, but didn't beg. Never begged. When they finally stopped, letting her catch a breath, she only looked at Derick with eyes that gleamed with contempt. “Not broken yet,” one guard whispered, glancing warily at the Alpha. Alpha Derick’s patience was thinning. His jaw was tight, knuckles white at his side. “Good,” he said flatly. “Let’s test how long that royal pride of hers lasts.” The hours that followed were painful bursts of suffering. They alternated with her, shocking her body back to consciousness each time she was about to lose consciousness by dousing her in cold water. She was already broken; one eye had swelled shut, her arms were pulled taut and almost dislocated from the hanging, and bruises bloomed across her ribs. A guard grabbed a hammer and nail as she sagged forward once more, too weak to hold her head up. “Wait,” Derick said, watching her. “Use her hands.” “No,” one of the guards said uneasily. “If we go for the hands, she might—” “She won’t die,” Derick snapped. “Do it.” The hammer strock the metal in a deafening cruel sound. Her scream resonated through the dungeon as though it burst out of her veins through her guts. The guards were shocked and stunned by the cruelty of the Alpha. Chills ran through their spines and set the atmosphere ice cold. Blood burst out of her veins and spilled on the floor like cherry juice. Her eyes were showing agony but her smile still wore her crown, her strength. “She’s going into shock,” the younger guard muttered. Derick crouched again beside her. “Still alive, princess?” he whispered mockingly. Hazel coughed weakly and forced open her good eye. “You hit like a child.” Derick struck her again. Then he stood. “She won’t die. Not yet. But keep her alive. Let her feel every second of it. She’s got a lot more sins to pay for.” He turned to walk away, his cloak swishing behind him. "Alpha Derick, or should I say, Derick? Are you.... ashamed of yourself..?" Hazel taunted even as the pain seared through her skin. Derick froze in his tracks, the guards behind him stiffened. Bloody and broken, but still very much alive on the inside, Hazel smiled. Her raw and split lips curled upward with the ruthless satisfaction of a warrior who has discovered the vulnerability of her adversary. "What just did you say?" Derick said it again in a low, nearly whispery voice, but with a tone that was far more dangerous than anger. Despite the blood accumulating at her chin, Hazel raised her head and rasped, "I said, are you that ashamed of yourself… Alpha Derick... for not keeping your Luna safe?" Like an impending storm, his eyes grew dark. "Take care of your mouth—" "Or what?” she coughed, the effort wracking her already-broken body. “You’ll whip me again? Burn me? Waterboard me? Go ahead. It will never bring her back and your frustration will just grow bigger as you realize that my death will just echo her absence and your downfall in this weakness is the funniest thing I've ever watched." That was the final straw.
