NINA'S POV
My pulse hammered in my ears, drowning the sound of the chaos outside. My body frozen with fear but it was only for a second. Slowly, without taking my eyes off the rogue I backed away from the window.
“Summer,” I said cautiously. She didn't reply but her ragged breathing made me sure that she was there. “When I tell you to, you will slowly open the other side of the door and run as fast as you can. I'll be right behind you.” I let out a shallow breath. “Do you understand?”
