CHAPTER TWO

It's Shirley's first day at Showers British School,the school of the elites.Even as a seven year old child she could already tell that the kids there and herself weren't on the same class in society but she was going to use the opportunity to her advantage.

She already knew her way around as she had come around a week earlier with her father to finish the acceptance procedures.On getting to her class she found out she was the last to arrive and her presence brought about so much silence that it scared her,but she was a fighter so she acted unfazed by the situation and walked up to her teacher for her introductions when she was done the teacher found out she didn't need to call everyone's attention as their eyes were already on the new girl,this made the teacher laugh and finally make the introductions.Hello class, this is miss Shirley a newly transferred student,be nice and welcoming to her and also help her whenever it is required.Is that clear?Yes Ms Jeno the class responded.Good,now Shirley your seat is just besides Jeni at the right front row.Jeni be nice to her okay.Yes Ms Jeno the beautiful girl at the far left table said.

Walking towards her seats the kids continued staring at her and that made Shirley question her looks,on getting to her seat Jeni smiles widely at her and tells her welcome and don't worry about them they are just amazed at your beauty.Shirley couldn't help herself from blushing hard so she decides to introduce herself again as she says thank you and I'm Shirley,hi I'm Jeni and this is my friend Georgia.Hello Georgia Shirley says but instead Georgia rolls her eyes and turns away making Jeni amazed and apologetic.But Shirley tells her it's fine and they get into the work for the day as the teacher begins to teach.

Just as quickly as the day had began so did classes end and Shirley had never been so excited about the thought of going home as it had been a long day.This school was a whole new level of different from her previous school that she began to wonder if she was even being taught in her previous school.She had so much to cover before the tests began in four weeks.As she gathered her things, a handsome looking boy walked up to her and introduced himself.Hello, I'm Jacob it's nice to have you here with us.You know we haven't had any students transferred here before and having you here is just wonderful so I decided to come say hello to you.Hi, I'm Shirley and thank you for the welcome it's nice to meet you.Same here just Incase you need help with studies be free to talk to me about it.Thank you Jacob you are so nice.You are welcome see you tommorow then?Yeah I'll see you tommorow.Bye.

She takes her back pack and off the goes out to see the most important person in her life waiting for her.Her dad is at the gate waiting for her and she is so happy to see him so she runs up to him and he on the other hand lifts her up and gives her a peck on her cheeks.So how was my angel's first day at Showers British School? Well dad it was amazing I have a lovely homeroom teacher and amazing classmates too.Everyone is nice to me and I love it here.That's great to hear then,I got you your favourite Ice cream.Thank you Papa you are the best.I know I am dad laughs as I make my weird looking smirk as we go home.It was indeed a great first day at school and I hope it continues that way.I get home finish my assignment,eat and off to bed I go.See you tommorow.
