Chapter five - She will fall for me

Scott’s POV:

I woke up in a good mood. The first thing that came to my mind was this girl Ellie. Usually, girls fall for me from the first time, but she somehow didn't. Maybe if I try to be nice and polite she will. Who I am kidding? This is something that I can't do. I am a bad boy and a player, the school's favorite, by almost all the students, and most hated, by the teachers, boy. It won't be me if I don't try on her again. 

I get ready and went to see my friend Noah. He is the same as me just not a big heartbreaker. Well, I don't care how girls feel. I need to satisfy myself first. Moreover, they know what I am like. No one made them come to me, but the thing is that they can't resist. 

- Hey man, how are you? By the way, I saw you yesterday with a new chick. Did something happen? - Noah smirked

- I wish it did, but she never gave me the chance to show her what I can do. I did nothing, but she looked scared and I saw tears in her eyes. 

- Not even started and already breaking hearts. That's a new record for you buddy. - my friend chuckled

- It's not funny. I want to know why she acted that way. If I did something, ok I get it, but I didn't even kiss her. 

- Why don't you go and ask her? If she is in the mood, she'll answer you. 

- Maybe I will. I'll go because I am already late. I don't want another mad teacher. Not like I won't have. 

With that, I left for my class. To be honest, I don't want to be there, but I don't have much choice. I have to graduate somehow. Maybe I can ask Ellie to help me with studying. No one will reject that offer. Moreover, that way I can get close to her. 

When I walk into the classroom, I saw her sitting alone. I was about to sit, but the teacher stopped me. 

- Mister Lincoln, you are late. If you really want detention, just say it. I happily will give you one. - mister Smith said

- Watch out for your kids, then take care of me. 

- Don't talk like that or I really will give you one. The principal will be happy to see you again. 

- You are here to teach us, not to tell me what to do. 

I walk by him and sit next to Ellie. There were free places near some chicks, but I didn't want them now. Maybe later, if she doesn't give me what I need, I'll call some of them. They are so stupid. I use them how I want, but they still want to come again. It's their choice after all. 

- Ellie, can we talk? I won't do anything. Just want a simple talk with you. 

She didn't answer and even refused to look at me. Is she mad at me? I did nothing to her. I swear some girls are way too complicated. That's why I go after easy ones. They are transparent like a window. 

- Ellie, please. I don't know are you mad at me, but if you are, I'm sorry.

- Stop talking. Unlike you, I want to concentrate. 

There is no point in going on. I'll wait until the end of the class. Maybe then, she will pay some attention to me. Meanwhile, I texted Noah, telling him what happened. 

- I don't know how to talk with her. She is impossible. 

- I thought that impossible and girls are not words, which you use in one sentence. 

- Very funny. She didn't even look at me, but I won't give up. 

- So now you are interested in her? You not only want to take the usual, but something else?

- I am always the same, but I want to know why she acted like that yesterday. If I did something, I want to know what it is. 

- Good luck then. She is from the hard ones. 

- But I will get her. One day, soon or not, she will fall for me. Just like every other girl in this school. 

 We talked for Ellie until the bell start ringing. She was about to leave when I stopped her. I tried to look her in the eyes, but she didn't let me. It'll be harder than I thought. 

- Ellie, can I talk with you now? Please. I want to know why you acted like that yesterday. Did I do something to you?

I lifted her chin and make her look at me with her beautiful chocolate brown eyes. What the hell? I never talk like that to a girl. 

- How do I act? This is who I am. If you don't like me, that's your problem, not mine. 

- But you were crying. I didn't even have the chance to give you the best experience of your life. - I chuckled at the end

- Probably, something went in my eyes. I didn't cry. Now, excuse me, but I have to go. 

- Wait! Will you come with me to one place this afternoon? 

- Ask some of the chicks which you hook up regularly. - she said and left

I can't believe that she rejected me. No one rejects Scott Lincoln. I will get her and when I am done, I'll do the same as I do to all the girls. 

It was lunchtime and the hall was almost empty. The only person who was there was Ellie. Won't she eat? I used this as an opportunity to talk with her. Now there is no escaping. I will push my luck a little bit and kiss her. Then she'll be all mine. 

- Hello princess. I guess it was meant to be for us to be together. This is the second time in which I can talk with you. - I said and walked to her

She was going to walk away, but I grab her arm and pin her to the lockers. Let's see where you'll go now. 

- This time you won't escape. I told you that I won't hurt you. I'll make you a deal. If you kiss me, I'll leave you for the rest of the day. Do you agree? 

- I... I can't do that. Please, let me go. I didn't do anything to you. 

- Don't be scared. All I want is a kiss and nothing else. Give me one and then I'll let you go. 

- I can't. Please just leave me. There are many girls who look better than I do. Go after one of them. 

- But I don't want one of them. I want you. 

I was about to kiss her when I saw tears in her eyes. Seriously, again? I didn't even touch her. What is wrong with this girl? I have seen crying girls, but it was after I am done with them. I looked her in the eyes and wiped them. 

- Ellie, what's wrong? I didn't do anything to you. Why are you acting like that?

- Please, just let me go. 

- Not before you tell me everything. Why are you crying every time when I come to you?

- Just leave me alone. Go and do this to one of your girls. 

- TELL ME WHY THE HECK ARE YOU ACTING LIKE A F***ING CRY BABY?

- Because I don't like you. Don't you see it? You are exactly the opposite of me. - she said scared

- Tell me the real reason, not some lies. 

- Just let me go. I won't tell anyone about this. 

- TELL ME THE TRUTH ELLIE. WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS CRYING WHEN I AM AROUND?

- BECAUSE I MISS THE OLD YOU. 

She what? Miss the old me. What's that supposed to mean? Does she know me? That's impossible. I have never met her before. I expected everything, but not that. 

- What do you mean? Do we know each other? I don't remember meeting you before. 

- I have to go. I already said way too much.

I didn't complain and let her go. Her words were still in my head. Miss the old you. I don't understand.  From where she knows me? Something is going on and I need to know what. I won't lie that it hurts seeing her cry when I am around. No other girl has done that, but Ellie is not like the other girls. She is very different. 

I saw Noah and went to him. His smirk faded when he looked at me. 

- Man, what happened? I thought that she'll fall for you, but I see that it won't be today. 

- I think I am hurting her, but I don't know how. 

- What do you mean? Did you kiss her or something else? 

- No, I did nothing of that, but she started crying again. I don't know what is wrong with her. 

- So... is there a plan B? I guess that one talk won't resolve the problem. 

- I won't give up. She will fall for me and then when I get bored of her, I'll just leave. 

I decide to keep for me what Ellie said. Noah no need to know about that. "I miss the old you". Her words are stuck in my head. I can't think about anything else. Why I don't remember her? Ellie wouldn't say this if it wasn't true. 

I grabbed my things, said goodbye to Noah, and walked away. Maybe I will call some chick. At least it'll make me stop thinking about Ellie. No other girl has ever done this to me. How I said she is different and hurt. You know what, I won't care about her. She is just a girl, nothing special, but I won't lie that I still want to kiss her. I will step on my game and do it. Watch out, Ellie. Soon you'll be mine.
