Giselle's POV: I woke up with a start, my heart racing like a wild animal. Sweat dripped from my forehead, soaking my pillowcase. Another unsettling dream had invaded my sleep, leaving me feeling unnerved. The door to my room burst open, and my mom stepped in, concern etched on her face. "Are you okay, sweetie?" she asked, her voice soft and soothing. I sighed, feeling guilty for disturbing her again. "I'm fine, Mom. Sorry for waking you up."
