Eleonora returned to the abyss-like space as the bedroom that she was in crumbled into the nothingness below her.
"I'll be there soon..."
She muttered the words that her saviour said.
"I'll be there soon..."
She said, and her heart beat in return.
Thump-
Her ice like heart, slowly thawed as she remember the gentle eyes of her saviour. The person that she yearned for. Although young as she was back then, she couldn't helped but fall in love to the person that saved her. Yet, she couldn't forgive herself from forgetting him, even if the man himself said that she would do so after he left. But the promise, the promise that she made with the Gods as the witnesses should have prevented her from forgetting...
"Why?" She ask to no-one "Why did I forget you?"
Clench.
She clenched her slender fist.
"Why did you make me forget you...?"
Drip- Drop-
Tears began to fall from her eyes, she couldn't hold her emotions any longer. She had tried to act emotionless, not showing her weakness, a person colder than anyone, crueler than anyone, but it seems an act would still be an act. Although nobody new that she was acting, even Dawn her personal maid didn't know it, even the King himself and the family of Memphis Royalty didn't know it either.
All they knew was that she had changed due to the shocking death of her birth-mother.
Nobody. Yes, nobody knew that she was suffering inside. Hurting the people that cared fo her, ignoring them, and giving them troubles ate away on her conscience, just so that she could move them away from her. She didn't hate her sisters and brothers, infact she loved them.
But it can't be said the same for the King, her father. She loathed him, the person that made her mother that way. Because the King took her away, or so the man said, she wouldn't have been killed. Her father didn't even shed a tear while looking at her mother's grave.
Her suffering only continued when a war broke out, many nobles of the kingdom even suggested marrying her off to the Three United Kingdoms, for the war to stop. They threatened her that she would be killed, as the only thing they knew was that she only cared for herself. They tried to kidn*pped her, but it only ended in their failure, and the King increased her knights making her defense even stronger.
She became afraid of the night, and so ended up making her servants leave aside from Dawn so that no-one would notice it. She let the night crawled up in her room, so that she could get used to it and conquer it. She was successful, though, she became more accustomed to the night that the lights.
Eleonora's life was by no means normal. All the people around her loathed her, except for the few people that truly cared for her. All of it was the result of her acting, acting to prevent anyone around her from getting hurt, yet she was the onr that pained them the most.
Drip- Drip-
Eleonora's fell without end as she recalled everything she have done, she didn't like doing it, she hated doing it, and it pained her, but that's all she could think of doing.
Crack-
With her regrets still lingering in her head, the abyss-like space cracked, and light entered through it. Eleonora closed her eyes as she was envoloped by it, and the next thing she knew, she was in a different place.
"Ah~! You're finally awake~!"
