AT HOME

Alice flew down to her house. She gently dropped in John’s front. She lawn and landed while transitioning back into her human form.

The morning air had dried Alice off, but she still stunk of sweat.

"What happened? where's your Toyota vios? John asked

"I gave it to a group of vampires on the street instead of fighting with them over useless talk." Alice said

"Oh, I am not happy with that news. Last week, the newly arrived and high end car fell into the river. Until now, the technician is still trying to get it back in order, the next day you crashed into a building gate. And now you give away another unit. Do you know how much those three cars cost?"

John said, he was concerned about the company will get lot of lose. John is the vice president of CACHO company. At the same time he is the one knows all financial activities.

At home, John Rodriguez is a bestfriend, second parents, and elder brother for Alice. That how Alice is too close to John. But unlike Alice, John is a wolf.

“Well, John. How do you feel today?”

Alice said, John looked at her and says

“Are you answering me in your mind?" John asked.

“Yeah,” Alice laughed.

“I can’t hear you anymore,” John said.

“Can you hear my thoughts?” Alice focused on him

“No,” John said.

“The sun is out, and my skin is started to sting.”

Alice said, John opened the door and she entered the house. They found Bryan and Hector were asleep on the living room floor. The two snored loudly while sleeping, even their saliva on the floor was drying. The two is a wolf.

While Alice and John continued walked to the back of the house. Yankee was sleeping in John’s room, and Lena was asleep in Alice bed. This two girls is a vampire.

“What a couple of Goldilocks!”

John said, laughing. Alice smiled.

“Let’s go talk in the kitchen.”

Alice asked and the two walked, going to the kitchen and sat at the table.

“You are hungry,” John asked

“I’m starving.” Alice said

“I’ll make us a couple of omelets.”

John said he opened the refrigerator and pulled out a carton of eggs, milk, cheese and some lunch meat. He opened the

bottom cabinets below, for a quick on the stove and took out a skillet.

“You want three or four eggs?” John asked

“I’m starving. Give me five.” Alice says

“You want lunch meat?”John asked

“What kind?” Alice asked

“Chicken?.” John say

“Sure.”

Alice approved his menu and so, John proceeded to crack the eggs open and make us both a couple of omelets. He put out a couple of plates and poured some orange juice.

“I miss this, it felt like old times.”

Alice said while John put the hot plates on the table.

“We sure had our times, didn’t we?” John dug into his omelet.

“I am sure, this will taste great!” John proudly to pronounces

“It was damn good one.” Alice said, after she took a bite on her.

“What I need to figure out is, why your mother felt it was important for you to train you further as a wolf, while I remain stagnant in my abilities.”

John said while he continued to eat his omelet.

"Maybe my mother wanted to see me do an unselfish act. Maybe, I hadn’t thought about that” Alice replied. She continued to eat her omelet, and took a drink of orange juice that was place behind.

"I just thought for a saying that "Mother always knows the best for their children". Secondly, it was right that the Alpha sent you out of town. Because if he hadn't done that, we wouldn't have known each other." John said.

Way back from the year 2019. Alice meet John in the street as a vendor. He is currently writing to calculate his merchandise of fruits. Alice was going to buy its goods, but some bad guys came and hold-up John for money. Two guys had raise their gun. Because of that Alice found out that he was a wolf. John was able to break it's palms and even break their lazy bones. Alice just looked at them while wandering.

Two days after, the personal secretary filed a resignation from work. Alice Father Don Francisco hardly look for someone to be trusted. So she referred John to work for their company.

John accept what Alice offered to him. It took two months of working together where they got to know each other. So Alice decided to live apart from her father, with some of her friends who were wolves and vampires, including John.

“I doubt that we have experienced too much crazy s**t for any of this, to be too damn funny"

John said, While Alice is in her deep thoughts.

“My mother wants me to stay with the Alpha and get trained by those elder of the pack. While my father wants me to go to Dracula’s castle and set the throne as his queen. Now, if you were me, which do you want to live in?

Alice explained. John stared at her blankly, then cracked a smile and laughed out loud.

“Did you smoke some herb before going to bed? What makes you so certain?”

John asks. Wanting to cut the new serious topic.

“I knew, it’s what I’m supposed to do.” Alice said

"What should we do now?" John asks

"It is why I trained you. I was told by the blue gnome to do so and looked at what happened these few days. I chose you because you have cognitive thoughts as

a werewolf.”

Alice said, John nodded his head and asked.

“So, when do you plan to go?” John asks

“Very soon.” Alice said

In seconds, Lena came into the kitchen. She's wearing red plain pajamas. She looked at Alice and John with questions on her face.

“Why are you guys here? I thought we were going at the cabin."

“We had a little bit of trouble,” John said.

“John made his famous lunch meat omelet. It’s pretty ghetto, but it has a good in taste!” Alice said

Lena smiled as she sat down at the table and said

“I like ghetto.”

“You can’t eat an omelet, can you?” Alice asked.

“Maybe, if I dipped it in blood.” Lena said and laughed

“So, what kind of trouble did you get into?" Lena asks.

“We were able to do things neither of us anticipated.”

“Like...?” Lena asked.

“When I’m turned into a gray wolf, Alice and I are able to communicate through our thoughts." John says.

“Bullshit!” Lena scowled.

“We’re not kidding.” John said and looked to Alice for agreement. Lena looked over to Alice.

“He's telling the truth.” Alice says

“How did you figure that out?” Lena asks

“Well, that's where the trouble comes, when we were attacked by a pack of werewolves,” Alice said. Lena looked both.

“Seriously? That was the trouble you were talking about?”

“It wasn’t just any pack of wolves,” Alice said

"Did you kill any of them?” Lena said worried.

“I did,” Alice said.

“I had to defend myself”

“How many did you kill?” Lena asked with her voice rising.

“Two”

Alice said.

“Why, is it a big deal? If they are the first to attacked you?" Lena asked

“I killed two werewolves and I am expecting for Alpha's punishment, I just wait for his call." Alice says

“Even if we just defending ourselves. They will come after me. I want to alert everyone and trained all of you."

Alice says. John remained quiet. Lena looked over to John.

“Lena. I want you to do special task."

Alice says

"What is it?" Lena asks

"About Alden, he tried to kill me." Alice said

"What?"

John says who suddenly raised his voice in shock.

“He left me dead in the well. That's what he was thinking now. This is my chance now to leave here temporarily. John, please take in charges everything. Lena, I'm sure you can handle him." Alice said

“I am not even sure if vampire and a wolf can work together, like normally what we have now.” John said

“I know you have been around since then, But none of us knows what any of this means. This might not be about wolf or vampire, It might be as simple as we have to stay as close together, while Alice is not around " Lena says

Alice looked at both of them, and it was obvious that they cared deeply each other. Nonetheless, if they all need to leave. It’s bad enough, they have still an enemy after them. They are strong as one team, vampire and a wolf.

“We did what we had to do,” John said indignantly.

"I know, boys, you’re the good guys. I know that much for sure. Regardless, we all need to get the hell out of Dodge.”

Lena says. Lena has many connections and friends in vampire communities. She met Alice when they are primarily school. Since then, they were a good friends. Alice and Lena had the same school in college. Alice take business Administration course while Lena take her medicine course. And now, Lena is working as a Doctor in a one private hospital in the city. Yankee is a vampire also who's Lena younger sister. Since she lived with Alice, she bring also her sister for security purposes.

“I trusted the two of you. I will leave now and head to Surigao.

“Why Surigao?” Lena asked.

"I have to settle everything with the Alpha, and clear my name."

“I’ve had a place there since the 1940, you may stay there. I will send to you the address " Lena said

"Thank you Lena." Alice says and smile

“I may take my leave and get everybody up” Lena said.
