The plan

After leaving dad’s office I locked it back up and went into the kitchen to get something to eat. As I cooked the wheels in my head was turning, as I ate my mind was putting together the pieces but as I finished eating I hit a road block. I’m only 15 years old even if I do make it off the pack grounds and go to a human town far away how will I get some where to live, no one is going to allow a 15 year old to get an apartment or sign myself in school. I only had two weeks to get this plan figured out, the future Alpha ceremony is in two weeks time and there is no way in hell that I will be with Ward the true devil’s child, he is nothing like his father. I doubt he changed in alpha training school where his been for the last year. There is no way I could ever marry him, I have to get out of here before he gets back. I’m pretty sure that this is his uncle and my ex grandfather’s doing, I don’t think the Alpha would do anything like this. Besides Ward hates me just as much as I hate him.

Ward’s Pov

I have two more weeks and I’ll be home and become the next Alpha of my pack. I have to emit my dad was right I needed this training. I was very immature and was not ready be a good Alpha. I needed help me control myself from being so reckless not knowing how to control myself when I’m around my mate. I have a whole two years and a few months to wait for my mate to be 18 she is currently 15 and won’t be 16 for a few months. And in that time I have some making up to do, you see when we were young I used to be bad and when I did something wrong and she was around I’d blame it on her because of the bad luck that was said she had. Then when I got in our younger teens I started having feelings for her but because of her nickname that someone started because of something I did she hated me. She stopped coming around anymore not even to play with my sister Angie. I would try and talk to her but she would just yell at me to leave her alone. So I did.

With me being older than her I was in another part of the school so I didn’t get to see her at all but in my senior year she was skipped up to a grade under me because she was really smart I hard some of the teachers saying she really could be graduating and going off to college but her mom and dad wanted her to stay in school and try to make friends. The year senior year started I had already turned 18 and had gotten my wolf. What was I supposed to do when I walked in school with my then girlfriend and your wolf sees a 14 almost 15 year old girl and says the word mate.

I was shocked to say the least, it was bad enough that I already liked her and had been staying away trying dating other girls. But even more harder seeing her in the hallway every day during period change, but seeing boys looking at her or saying lewd remarks about her got me kicked out a few times because of it. So I reinforced that stupid nickname and add in a few other things just so guys wouldn’t look at her. It’s been working for a while but my friend Ben and future Beta said that in this last year she has gotten even more beautiful and from the pictures he has sent me it’s true and that guys been talking about asking her out. My mate is breathtakingly beautiful. I really hate I wasn’t there for her with the lost of her parents. My dad and uncle called me and told me that her mom just passed and her grandad asked to find her a new pack because her grandfather doesn’t want her living with him cause she isn’t related to him, which I remember that part. I remember the day my uncle brought her into the pack house she was perfect I wanted her to be my little sister but my mom was already pregnant with my baby sister Angie and didn’t want another baby. I guess Im glad mom didn’t keep her with her turning out to be my mate. That would have been awkward. So I had to tell my dad that Takayla is my mate and that he had to keep her there. My uncle suggested to pay that old drunk so she could stay. My dad didn’t think it was a good idea but he agreed. So with me on the phone my dad called the old drunk into his office and told him what the situation was and that Takayla would move into the pack house until she was 18 and then become my mate. He was not for it at first, saying that she was bad luck and he didn’t want to stick around for what ever bad she brought on our pack, he wanted more money so he could leave the pack. That made my dad a little weary about me taking her for my mate and I told him that I would not become alpha if he stopped her from being with my mate. So it was agreed that on the day of my alpha ceremony she will move into the pack house but live in another part until she is of age, that part was from my mom. Which I didn’t mind at all with me being an alpha I would want to claim her if she is so close to me all the time. But I have everything figured out, so I can get to know her and she gets to know the better person I have become. It helps that she’s at school for 8 hours most of the week day and I’ll have training in the evening on some days so I want be around her to much. I’m thinking about a hour or two a day at first and then more over the next year letting our mate bond grow I just hope it works out but you never know what fate might bring you. I’ll just have hope for the best.
