The plan comes together

Takayla’s POV

I don’t know when I finally fell asleep but I was up late trying to figure each step of the plan. So far I have came up with a way to get my documentation I need from school, what human town I was heading to then what pack in the area was the best. I pick Texas as my destination because I know the old man would head towards Los Vegas. I also picked Texas because of Alpha Dean in the Pine Cove pack, I heard he was a great alpha and very kind person. I did a little research on the wolf pack website and it had great things to say about the pack, it also had a sad story about the Luna just passed away. She was very beautiful and I could tell that Alpha Dean loved her a lot. So that was the pack I chose. I will stay in the human town and stay low key until I’m close to my 17 birthday then I’ll go and ask if I could join the pack, I’m waiting till then so they won’t contact Blue Mountain pack So Ward won’t know here I am. Now the only thing I need to figure out is how to get a fake id card and a birth certificate making me 18 already so I can get a place to stay. I plan on going back to school tomorrow because today I need to find this mean old man so we can have the burial for mom.

After getting dressed and grabbing something to eat I made my way over to his house but when I get there he was coming out the door dressed in his black suit I asked if he was heading to make plans for mom’s burial. He looked at me and told me not to worry about it he already handled it and to go back to the house. I said okay but as I walked home something told me to follow him and I did. I followed him to the graveyard in my head I’m thinking maybe he just going to visit grandma or dad’s grave but when he gets there I see it’s a funeral for my mom. He was having mom funeral without me. This was not right how could he be so cruel. I tried to stay hidden but Miss Kim seen me and come over and pulled me up to the front near mom casket. When he saw me he went mad cussing me out, trying to make me leave but the Alpha used his alpha command on him to make him stop. After that the funeral went on I said my good byes but I also thanked her and dad for taking care of me even though I wasn’t theirs and that I’m sorry if I caused them any troubles and how I will be forever grateful to have them in my life. After I spoke I turned and walked away, crying my eyes out I just couldn’t believe she was gone and that evil man was going to bury her without. But that’s okay his going to regret how he treated me. The Moon Goddess doesn’t like ugly mean people that do mean things to her kids.

The next day at school I went up to Nina the girl at school that could get you what you need. I asked if she knew how to get fake identification. She told me to give her my number and she’ll give me a call. Later that evening she called and told me that it would be $2000 to the guy and she wanted a finders fee of $500 I told her it was going to take a couple of days for me to get it and I’ll call her then. It really wouldn’t take that long but I didn’t want her to know I had cash like that. The next day after school I went to dad’s business and talked to the manager. I let him know that mom had passed and that I was going to give the company over to grandpa, and he need to wait two weeks before contacting him and having everything signed over. I gave him the paperwork with my signature on it showing that I was really the owner but gave it to him, just wanted to rub it in the old man face. Then I went to the bank and had most of mom’s personal account transferred to a new account with my name on it but had it locked until I turned 21 years old. Even the one she set of for me to start a business with. I left $50, 000 in her personal account to leave to the old man and why you might ask, to show I could have taken it all as well and that I’m a better person than he is. Then I kept a couple thousand out of the money that was in the safe so I can get all the stuff I need to leave and put some stuff in storage then I put the rest of that in my account, giving me $260,000 of spending money.

I’m going to pack light, about two weeks worth of clothes and a few pictures and some other things. I put some things in a small storage unit with the help of Miss Kim. I got her to help by telling her that grandpa just wanted to throw everything away and that I better get what I wanted. It’s now day five and I’m meeting with Nina and her friend to give him the money. He takes my picture and I pay him half of the money up front, he tells me that that’s a smart move and to give him a few days. Me and Nina leaves as we are walking back to the pack she says. “So your leaving the pack?” At first I was going to tell her the truth but instead I tell her that my ex-grandpa said I’m on my on so with me being 15 not much I’ll be able to do I’ll need id to get a bank account I can use to save money so when I do turn 17 I’ll have money saved up. I’ve already lined up two jobs one I can only work in the summer but it pays more than the one cleaning in the pack house being a maid.

“Oh wow you are really smart I see why you were skipped up grades. Nina stated “

Yeah I wish they would just let me graduate now but I fell behind a little so I have to wait next year then I’ll still have to wait before I can go to college due to no adult to sign the paperwork but it gives me time to save up more money.

“You do know that the Alpha could do that for you, you could tell him about your grandfather not taking care of you. She says”

I don’t want to be a burden and he already gave me the job so I think that’s enough help.

“You could wait until Ward becomes Alpha, she said”

I look at her really for the first time and realize she was trying to fish out something what I didn’t know. I tell her he would just tell me to figure it out myself and that the guy hates me, which Im not lying about that. She looks at me for a minute then nods her head. Once we make it back to the pack she goes one way and I go another. One more step crossed off the list. Next step get school documents from the counselor.
