Fire and Ice

At the age of nineteen, Queen Joselynn became the youngest queen to reign over a kingdom. Her mother died in childbirth, and her father, the Late King Edward, passed away only a few months after her 19th birthday. Queen Joselyn’s Father taught her how to rule a Kingdom since she was a child. He did not treat her as a mere Princess, and he wanted her to understand what it took to reign as he didn’t possess any sons. The Late King Edward instilled in her to rule with heart for her people as well as her head for the Kingdom. She matured under her father’s guidance and had a natural ability to rule as Queen. However, she was now 21 years of age and constantly received pressure from her advisors as well as other Kingdoms to take a husband. She refused every man who asked for her hand. Queen Joselynn knew they had no desire for her, but for her powerful Kingdom. The size of her army and the concrete fortress that surrounded the castle made every other Kingdom look weak and they wanted a King on the throne, not just a mere woman. She was determined to rule alone so that no King could make decisions for her while she sat quietly and had no say in important decisions. Queen Joselynn also knew the secret talents she possessed would never be accepted by any King. She was not only a Queen, but also a warrior as she was taught to be. It did not take long for her to receive the title Ice Queen, as she would have nothing to do with any man and she ruled her Kingdom fiercely. However, that all changed when an unknown man saved her life.
