Ava's pov

It's been a week since I managed to get us a deal on a peace treaty. Abel stopped making comments towards me and stopped giving Dominic a hard time. I guess it took Lyra demanding them to have me for him to realize he couldn't keep up with me at all. He made it one round before finishing. When I woke up on the couch my body was so sore compared to normal. I guess we went a little to hard. My heat has passed again without any issues. Thank God Dominic was around and noticed immediately locking us in our room to carry me through it.

I hear a loud knock on the bedroom door around 5 a.m. I get up crawling out of bed to open the door. I see a guard at my door with a note in his hand. I reach for it taking it from him. And read it

My dear Ava, I know we have not talked in months but we both know why. We heard you found a new mate although we are upset to you rejecting our ally alpha we wish to congratulate you. We look forward to seeing you again in a few hours. Also Alpha Black will be with us as he should no longer be of issue now that you have a new mate. Oh and Crystal will be joining as well.

I sigh I'm frustration and tell the guard to step up security as my former pack will be here today. I close the door and walk over to the bed looking at Dominic as he lays in a deep sleep. I place the letter on the desk before walking to the closet looking for a dress for the day. I search for something appropriate to show myself off in as a f**k you to them all. I finally find the perfect dress and head to the shower. I scrub myself off before relaxing. I hear Dominic wake up and climb out the shower wrapping myself in the towel and going back to our room. Dominic lays there smiling as I brush my hair and slip on a matching green strapless bra and a tiny thong. He watches me full of desire as I roll my eyes.

"Did you just roll your eyes at your king?" He say covering his heart pretend I hurt his feelings. I turn away from him not answering and slip on a strapless dress that was a yellow heart shaped corset with black rubbings that pushed my chest up showing myself off. The bottom was black with small yellow details at its trim matching the top. It is very form fitting stopping in the middle of my thighs with a slit on the side. My heels were tall and nude in color. I curled my hair leaving it down. I face Dominic who stares at me Godsmacked at my appearance.

"Well you sure clean up nicely" he admires me getting a nice black button up s**t with yellow details matching me a pair of black slacks and black loafers. Her fixed his hair up making me want to take him where he stands. Both of us dressed and ready to see my family. As we exit the room making out way outside the coven house letting everyone know to be on there best behavior as my former pack is visiting. We both head back to the porch and wait as Abel and Carly come arms linked. They head start inside to set up the dinning hall. I turn to Dominic and kiss his cheek.

"Did you read the letter they sent?" I ask still focused on the woods in front of us.

"No why?" He looks at me puzzled. I let out a sigh before I begin to speak. " It's not just my father and brother. My sister her mate and Alpha Black are all coming." I say nervous to not upset him.

"Why are they bringing your old mate?" His voice full of anger. He linked Abel and Carly to prep the other guest rooms quickly. I look at him and squeeze his hand in mine before him looking at me confused. "How do you control your eyes?" He asked randomly. I think for a moment.

"Well it's not that hard. I can change them depending on my mood or whose in charge. If Lyra is in charge they are a really dark purple. If it's my vampire my eyes are the mixed color and if I'm in bothered it's the lilac color. The only time they are gold or fully red is when my emotions are in control or well my hunger is."I say shrugging my shoulders. I look around and laugh for a minute." Can I do something real quick please" I bat my eyes at him making him laugh and nod. I take a deep breath concentrating on my own heart beat and think of the wind and it's feeling and smell before I beging to feel it. I look at Dominic who is shocked at what I did. I smile hugely. "Isn't it nice?"I say calmly breathing it in.

"It's amazing how'd you figure that out?" His eyes full of excitement. "I learned it when I was upset a few months ago. I was so mad and just wanted it to be quiet instead of raining. I sat there for a few minutes and all of a sudden the rain was gone and sun had begun to shine." My heart beating fast as I get excited. Though it was almost immediately gone when I saw the cars pull up in front of the house.

My sister first to exit the car her face drops seeing for the first time in almost a year. After her my brother stares at me confused as does my father. I bow my head slightly to show respect and hold my hands together behind my back waiting for the devil to pop into view. The beta stepped out looking around the house before his eyes fell on me wrapping his arms around my sister. Then the smell hit me as he climbed out the car. He walks from the other side placing his arm on my brothers shoulder as I again respectfully bow to the alpha's. His eyes watch me hungerly. I notice immediately his gaze at me scanning me head to toe checking me out. I finally speak up to not make this any longer than needed.

"Hello father, Alpha Chris (my brother had stepped up into alpha role), Alpha Black, Crystal and Roman. I hope the travel wasn't to difficult. I know it is a long drive. Why don't you all come in?" I extended my arm stepping aside allowing them passed as Dominic and I follow behind. He gives me a quick glance and smiles. We walk into the house before letting Abel and Carly introduce themselves. " I hope you enjoy your stay" Carly says walking out the room as Dominic walks to the front of the room with me behind him. "So Ava where is this mate of yours? I would love to meet him." My sister starts before Her mate grabs her and tells her to hush. I look at the group on front off me. All people I genuinely dislike. My abuser's but here I am giving them respect and trying to be the bigger person. I move my hair allowing my mark to show. I hear Alpha Black growl at me before he began to yell.

" You seriously found someone to mate you? I mean you are actually hot now." His voice filled with hurt and lust. His eyes continue to scan me as if undressing me with his eyes. Before anyone else could speak l took a deep breath and let everyone talk amongst themselves.

"Babe he's staring at me it makes me so uncomfortable." I link Dominic. His eye dart over to Alpha Black before leaning on the mantle by the fireplace. "He wants you. It's pretty clear to seem I mean he wasn't lying you are hot. He won't touch you though and if does I will handle it this time." He shifts his weight watching my family start to bicker as I walk over to him.

"Can you do me a favor? Can you look at me and tell me what color my eyes are?" I ask him through the link. I turn and face him as he fixes my hair "Well this isn't how I wanted to tell them. Why have they changed to your mixed color?" His voice concerned. "It's because of him I told you he is making me uncomfortable. I felt them about to shift and walked this way so no one would see." My eyes searching his. He looks at me before taking a deep breath." Well here goes nothing" he tries to sound reassuring.

"As many of you know Ava has joined my coven a little after she left your pack. She has made this place her home and we all admire her skills and devotion. With that being said no one here is allowed to make her feel less than she is here." His voice calming and smooth as he looks down at me before I turn. I see my brother and father both look at me with disgust and my sister confused while the beta and former mate both look at me angry. Dominic places his hand on my shoulder seeing there reaction which is better than expected.

" As you can see I have turned her into one of us. She is a hybrid now. As I said her skills are needed and respected so she was given immortality." He says evenly. I look at my brother he becomes angry as does Alpha Black.

" I'm sorry brother but seeing your reaction does not seem right? Why are you upset as well as Alpha Black? I am no longer part of the pack or his mate so why does it matter what creature I am?" My voice confident and laced with happiness. I love seeing this out of them. They have hated me there whole life now all of a sudden it matters. Karma is all I can think.

"So you'd rather be a fanger then a wolf? You really think they are any different?" Crystal smirks as if she said something hurtful. Dominic growing annoyed lightly scoffs at there all mighty behavior.

"I never cared what I was as long I was happy. I love my wolf but she also doesn't mind this. She actually prefers it now.( Not to mention getting to f**k this sexy beast of a vampire behind me.) " I say shrugging my shoulders. She looked at Dominic for a moment admiring him. She talks down about me but gives my mate s*x eyes. Dominic coughing at her clearly staring at him.

"Alpha Black said you sleep with one. Is that why they turned you to use you as the coven w***e? I know he isn't the one f*****g you he's to good looking to be with you." She says laughing. I roll my eyes before turning to the mantle before propping myself up.

"Yes I have slept with one. Seeing how again I am a hybrid now and not Alpha Black mate I don't see how it matters." I just casually say. I turn and hear some of the men sparing outside as usual giving up on my conversation. I guess Dominic notices my disinterest in them and tries to cut off anymore questions by sending a guard to show them to there rooms.

"Once this over I am going to have you in bed for a week" his thoughts running throughy head.

"Why not take me to bed now baby" I say playfully to his link. His eyes lit up and he stares at me like if he could he would f**k me in front of anyone right now. I face him and stretch my arms up lifting my chest exposing some of my boob. Only he could see from the way I stood. I fix my dress and lay my hair over my mark. Dominic's is covered by his shirt. Once they all leave the room and make there way to there rooms waiting to hear the doors close Dominic walks over to me pushing against the mantle beside us both crashing his lips onto mine running his hand behind my neck as the other holds my hip as my hands hold his hips. We hear the front door but neither care enough to stop hearing Abel and Carly laugh at us not being able to keep our hands off each other for even a few hours. Dominic releases from our kiss first and rests his head on mine. We both want more but we can't right now. We still hear Abel and Carly laughing at us and I kiss him softly before sliding from under him. "Who said I want you to hold back?" I say playful as I walk toward Abel. I feel Dominic now behind me about to grab me when I kick off my heels and run holding my dress up and running behind Carly. Abel fully cracking up at the scene the king chasing his young hybrid mate like children. I hold Carly asy shield as I dart to the indoor training room and cover my mouth with my finger telling them to not speak. A few seconds later Dominic enters the room looks around not able to smell me over the sweat and mix of the men's smell. I sit behind a bench in the corner not really noticable if you aren't paying attention.

"Where is she?" He asks l. No one answering him just some of them shrugging and continue to fight. I peak around my spot and see him walk past me I take the opportunity and jump onto his back pulling him to the floor. I fix my dress so no one sees anything and before he gets the chance to grab me I get up and run toward the door. This time he catches me. We both laugh at my playfulness before his lips roughly take over mine. "What happened to not when the pack is here?" I ask teasing him. I feel him pick me up not taking his lips off mine and walks me to the locker room. Not caring if his coven sees hepulos out his c**k holding me with one hand once he exposed he pulls my thong to the side and begins to take me. I wait by the door laughing as Dominic places his arm onto Abel shoulder."Do you know this woman flashed me in front of her own family and former mate. What am I supposed to do?" His eyes lock onto mine and walk away leaving everyone me laughing. Most people are happy that were happy. I'm told I often I bring out his good side and they are happy he found someone who truely loves him no matter what the cost knowing I had to be turned. We openly show affection and act like children playing. The coven enjoys seeing Dominic able to let loose many never seeing that side of him until now. I exit the training room with some nic following. I go into the kitchen and see one of the nannies with one of the babies as it cries. I pick him up and dismiss the nanny so she can tend to the other children telling her to let the mother know I had her baby. I walk back into the living room baby in my arms now calm and sit by the fireplace. Dominic sits across from me just watching. "Why do you care for the children so much? You always are helping with them, which I love but why?" He asked genuinely wanting to know. I pause rubbing the babies hair as he drifts to sleep on me. " I guess because they have no hate on them. I've always enjoyed watching children, even with my pack watching the children play made me happy. They don't have to experience what I did growing up. I love the feeling of at least of my life was hell I can make there's better. Showing them nothing but love, care , and compassion." I say gently bringing the baby to the nanny again for her to place in the nursery. I sit back down thinking. " What do you think of ever having your own?" Dominic asked for the first time ever. "I don't know I would love my own but it seems to not want to happen not that it matters if it did. It's just were not careful in the slightest never have been and yet it's been 8 months and nothing. If it happens it happened but I don't need a baby to make me happy. I have my mate and the love of all the children here" my voice calmly stating as Dominic watched me happy.
