DOMINIC'S POV

A month later....

Ever since the fight Ava has been distant. I know she doesn't mean to be but she's trying to take her roles as queen as serious as possible. I meet with people day after day or dealing with coven members bickering. Abel finally started coming around again. He is still pissed that I took Ava from him as he loves to bring up whenever we have to be alone together. I never thought this is how it would be. "Did you bring the treaty? I have to look it over as does Abel to make sure they don't sneak anything in." I kiss her check as she giggles pulling out some papers from her bag. I try not to think about it and shake my head. I look at Abel and ask to see the treaty. I start reading and realize Ava was very thorough with the demands and what we can offer. She helps them find a solution with their women about the babies while I train and help in case of a war. In exchange we receive new land and access to a territory while receiving a huge payout. She knew what she was doing getting them to agree to this much.
