Argen had grown up and Elurix couldn't helped but be amazed at the growth the man is exhibiting. But his growth is because for a wrong reason. He needs to toughen himself up to live. To grow faster and soar with his hardened wings , not to be swept away by the wind. And he turned exactly as as wished, powerful and brave. The man has probably surpassed his limit, and is considered as one of the war weapon hidden by the federation. It was unannounced at that time, but Elurix saw Argens' Mecha broke through the barrier of the Zerg ship that attacked one of the base camp of the Federation. The war has been broadcasted, showing deaths and sacrifices, and it was used as a propaganda to strengthen the power of the Royals. The Federation despite trying their best to clean up the Royal Family's mess, couldn't do anything against it. They can only retrieve the injured soldiers and destroyed Mecha for the clean up. That time, one evolution save millions, but Argens' body went in overdrive and has been in a coma for almost 3 months. All of it were kept secret by the Federation, and not even Argens' father knows of it. Elurix was also informed by his father, thus he wasn't totally left in the dark at that time. However, After he woke up, Argens' body was no longer the lanky adolescent has, but a body filled with raw power. He seemed to grow older and his demeanor changed. His eyes and mind is harp. His movements turned so deadly, that he almost wrecked the hospital he was in. A simple tap will result into a broken wall. The Federation kept him for another 2 months to train and control his strength to avoid any further incident. "Stop looking shitty. You're making me lose appetite." - Argen voiced out as Elurix realized that they were already infront of the dining table filled with prepared foods. Argen has been seated, and is starting to reach for his favorite dish. Elurix scowled, slapped the man's hand then proceeded to sit beside his lover, Marcus. "I swear. You two don't seem to grow up." -The man laughed. He then helped Elurix pick some foods and put it in his plate. Smiling as Elurix ate the foods he picked. "I'm all grown up now. Elurix? Not sure." - Argen muttered as he munched his food. His cheeks bulging as he continously stuffed himself. "Nothings changed with you're cooking though. Still delicious!" "Why are you acting starved. It's not like you're too poor to buy yourself some delicious treats." - Elurix mumbled, earning himself a grunt from Argen. "It's not the same. You can't buy something that tasted from home, Ian." -Argen reasoned, he chewed and swallowed, then stuffed himself again. "Right. You have to eat more. You're just visiting us now, and will be living shortly. So don't mind El." -Marcus exclaimed happily. Argen hummed with satisfaction while Elurix huffed but still ate with relish. Marcus couldn't helped but smile at the scene before him. The two has been harmonious, even before he was part of their small family. He used to get jealous for Elurix attention. But Argen didn't do anything wrong. He remained the same through the years. He never asked for anything and never tried to take advantage of their relationships. The man is independent. Yet it is also the very reason why he, as the older one, felt distressed. Thus, he decided to be the older brother for the two. Who would've thought that Elurix and him will turn into something more serious. "You've been doing mission. Can't you take some day off? or Vacation leave?" - Elurix voiced out his thoughts , his tone filled with undisguised worry. He feared that Argen will die. No matter what the cause is. He will always worry for Argen. "Love- "Marcus wanted to stop him, but Elurix gave him a glare. 'If you utter another bullshit, love or not. Blueballs for you, Love!" Seeing the familiar glare, Marcus immediately fell silent. He gave Argen a glance before putting his attention to his food. "I'm in my day off now... That's why I was able to visit before my deployment."- Argen explained. His tone was flat and robotic, a signal that it was the end of the conversation. "Tsk. What day off is only for two days!" -Elurix grumbled unhappily. Argen laughed, took a sip of his wine, then wiped his lips with the table napkin prepared on his side. "Yeah. Who gave a two days off to someone, when day off is supposed to be a day." "Smart-ass." Elurix retorted but stopped the topic. He knows he won't win when it comes to Argen. "Becareful on your mission. We worry about you. Dont blame Elurix too much. He's been missing you a lot these days." - Marcus teased when he felt the atmosphere became light again. "Who's missing who! Don't lie!" - Elurix scoffed at that, earning himself a laughter from the two. The dinner ended with laughter, the heavy atmosphere gone, as they banter back and forth. It was a harmonious gathering for the three. ... Argen spent his days in relaxation with Elurix. Marcus had to work and l had left early morning, thus Elurix spent time with him the entire day. Then, the days off finally came to an end. Argen left with the same bag he brought when he came. Elurix hugged him goodbye, while Marcus stood watching the two. His lips twitch as he realized how Elurix looked like a mom sending his only son away for his first day of school. He coughed, rubbed his nose and nod his head when Argen gave him a thumbs up before leaving with a straight back. "Stop crying, will you? Anyone who sees you might thought you're sending your only son away."- Marcus teased , his hands cupping the man's face before gently wiping the tears away. "You're of the same age..." "Stop. My cutie, Argen, will always be my baby. You better remember that. Hmp!" - Elurix answered sassily. He glared at Marcus but didn't pulled away. He saw the man chuckle and held his hand, pulling him out of the Galaxy Port.. "I know. And I've always known. Just show it moderately. That kid is a grown up. He'll comeback to us."- Marcus reassured Elurix, his tone firm and gentle, making Elurix hum in agreement. Marcus sighed. He glanced back at the direction Argen had left. A silent prayer was uttered in his mind. May Argen return safely... That way, Elurix worry should never happen. An his promise to come true. .... "FLIGHT VTD795! CALLING THE PASSENGERS PLEASE! 20 MINUTES BEFORE TAKE OFF! PLEASE PROCEED AT GATE 9!" "FLIGHT VTD795! CALLING THE PASSENGER PLEASE! 20 MINUTES BEFORE TAKE OFF! PLEASE PROCEED AT GATE 9!" "LIGHT VTD795! CALLING THE PASSENGER SPLEASE! 20 MINUTES BEFORE TAKE OFF! PLEASE PROCEED AT GATE 9!" Argen glanced up at the hologram of a woman being played at the upper level of the Galaxy Port. The woman continued announcing the various flight number, calling the passengers to their respective flight. Argen held his bag pack, his steps purposeful and light as he made his way to the the GATE 9. A grin on his face as he saw a familiar face boarding the same civilian carrier he is about to board at. The man grinned back, gave a salute and followed behind Argen to the check point. They both stood silently letting the scanning robots roam and circle around them before giving them a small silver bracelet.0 The barricade opened with a beep as they scanned the bracelet to it before proceeding to board the carrier ship. The bracelet is also known as Check Pass. It will be given at the Port you came from and shall be taken back when you board down. It carries an expendable nano machines, which expands when exposed to an element or if the sensor felt a threat to the wearers life. It will turn into a suit that will cover the person wearing it. It minimize the damage and impact in any dangerous situation. Although traveling outside colony is much better compared to the past decade. It is still inevitable that sometimes, dangers come in unexpected ways. It is a life saving tool for dummies. "Captain, have you heard, Mito seemed to have lost it." -The man whispered as they finally got to a private cabin. The robot guide left with a loud tone after bringing them in a white room with a small glass window. At the left side is a double-decker bed with grey blanket and equally grey pillow. A round table at the center and two fixed metal chair at its side. "Damn!, I've always wondered why they made cabins look like this. I mean, man, I have the feeling of entering a gypsies rental room. Like that time we met a fortune teller with her crystal ball that reads the future." the man continued talking, pressing a button near the doorway to close the shatter of the small window. Argen put his things at the lower bunk, he then pressed his fingers at his glabella to massage the fatigue away. His head felt heavy, and he really wanted to sleep but being a soldier prevented him from relaxing his mind and body entirely. To him, no open space is safe. A pirate may attack, or an accident may happen, he didn't want to be helpless and caught off guard when that time comes. "Boss, as I was saying, Mito found out his wife has been having an affair. The man wanted to surprise his wife for the unexpected vacation. Who would have thought it was him who'd be surprised instead. Caught his wife f*****g the gardeners nephew inside their own bedroom. He was so livid that he grabbed them by the neck, still naked, then tie them up the tree. The problem is they were in a knot!"-The man guffawwhioe slapping his hands at the metal table, as he remembered the way the man fumed at the adulterer. It was funny cause Mito seemed to really like his wife. "Mito, isn't he the lycanthrope sergeant at the platoon under General Weiss?" Argen thought of the middle aged man standing at the flatform yo deliver his speech at one of the military convention held last year. He looks rigid and strict. "Yes, Boss. General Weiss is a strict man. I don't know how'd he react if the issue reached his ears." Hearing that, Argen nod his head... A subordinate cannot bring disgrace to the superior. What will the superior do to deal with such a situation? "Boss" The man paused, his expression turned solemn as he looked at Argen, his fist clenched tight as he took a deep breath. "The Royals had been doing something nasty, Your father might get implicated." Hearing the man spoke with such serious face made Argen look at the man with a new light.. 'Is he concerned for me because of father?' "I know. Don't worry about me. I wouldn't do anything to side with the royal, even if my father is their loyal vassal." "Boss, that's not what I meant. We were just afraid that you'll get implicated even more despite cutting off relations with the Royals. They seemed adamant in taking you back. Perhaps, they had caught a whiff of your true identity in the federation and is coveting you for their own purposes. We hope that you live your life the way you'd want to without worrying about the Royal bastards." The man said with atmost sincerity. He knows, everyone knows what Argens father had done. Argen is young. And despite that, he still earned his place in the federation. At a young age, he has a much higher rank compared to some of the veterans. He worked hard and is down to earth despite his abilities. He is powerful and is able to work efficiently within the group. He has saved so many lives that not even the General's would question his loyalty. As a subordinate, they all care for Argen. "Victor, I know what you are worried about. It won't happen. My father as a vassal has nothing to do with me. But still, Thank you." - Argen stated calmly. He then Proceed to tap at his light brain, searching for news from the Royals and his father's issue. He hadn't had the time to check on it since he wanted to relax and enjoy his day with Elurix. And as he read the report, Argens lips twitch. "It seems that the storm is upon us all." He muttered to himself, drowning Victor's rambling. He then laid back, closed his eyes and tried his best to take a nap. Because after this, He knew, it would take a long time to get another lengthy vacation.
