Chapter 4

The rest of the night was normal for everyone but me. After sending Alex home my wolf just wined and cried the whole time and I felt like crap. The elders said that when you find your mate the bond is so strong you can find and sence them from miles away. If the bond is strong enough you can feel them and sence what is happeneing to them and even hold the telepathic link from any place in the world. Not many have had that and I doubt I will either. I was set on having Kelly as my Luna since we have always fooled around she would make good baby and neither one of us was mated. She has always had feelings for me while I did not have them back she is a good lay. After the party died down Drew decided to go out and take a run.

As Alex walked back to her cabin she could feel the anger in her swelling. That man was getting on her nerves and he was the Alpha. How could she possibly stay and try to make this place her home if her and the Alpha are on such bad terms already and well lets be honest she hates his face. Just as Alex reaches the door to her cabin her body is filled with a surge of energy. She felt as though she was just woken. Out of no where Alex could feel all sorts of changes rumbling in her. She did not know what was happeing to her in this moment since she has never shifted so out of fear she flew into the cabin hoping it was jsut her wolf and nothing worse. Once in side Alex fell to the floor the lights began to flicker, it felt as if the earth was totally still but the cabin was filled with wind. Alex eyes turned a deep crystal blue and in a flash she was standing on all fours. Looking in the miror Alex could see her relection. A tall snow white wolf with silver looking tips stood where she had fallen. Alex was so excited to have shifted all she wanted to do was go to the woods and run. Just as the thought entered her mind the door of her cabin opened on its own. Alex was taken back at the sudden opening of the door until a sweet voice in her head said, magic. 'whose there' alex demanded telepathically. 'I am snow your wolf and other half if you will' as she laughed. 'you said the door was magic why' alex asked as she cautiously walked out of the door and to the tree line. ' we have magic alex. you are wolf and witch' snow replied. 'I am no witch I only just became a wolf. besides i'm an orphan nothing special' alex retorted as she sniffed and romped in the forest. Alex explored miles of the forest in awe at how beautiful and at peace the world is when she is in this form. Just when she thought she was ready to head back Alex came across an opening that drew her towards it like a magnet. Once in the middle of the clearing Alex looked around she is still drawn to the spot but she can also sence someone is with her. unsure what to do since she has never shifted before today she tries to reason with her intruder ' hello is someone there?' alex telepathically asked. After a few minutes and no reply Alex became uneasy and the world around her lite up balls of tire poped up aroud the white wolf and the wind picked up and the clouds rolled in bringing a huge thunder storm. Seeing all of this alex became terified and cowered down in fear. 'alex relax we are doing this it is our powers you have to calm your self to control them alex relax' snow said trying to help her counter part. Alex closed her eye stood up and with two deep breaths the winds where gone, the storm disipated, and only a few balls of flame hung close to light the way and in another flash Alex shifted back into her human form. Alex was exhausted after switching back and after the random discovery of a taste of her power. Her body could not handle the exhaustion and after a few small steps toward the edge of the clearing alex could see a black wolf and then the world went black.
