Chapter 3

No sooner did the words leave Drew's mouth did the scent of his mate hit him. As he looked up to scan for the source his eyes fell upon a slender blond who looked as innocent as a child but as sexy as binkini model on a hot day. Betty watched her grandson as his eyes flashed gold , his wolf found his mate, ad as he finally caught sight of his mate himself. The look of love and lust flashed across his face and even a faint smile. Just as fast as the smile came it was quickly replaced with a menacing scowel.

"who is she," Drew asked now looking pissed off and still glaring at Alex.

"Alex is the young lady who came to town for a fresh start. She is a lone orphan wolf and just wants a quiet place to settle down," Betty said as she walked away from Drew.

Alex could hear the anger in his voice and the worry in Bettys reply so when she looked up from serving the tables food she stood at to see the two right infront of her Alex froze for a moment.

"Who are you and why are you bothering my grandmother," Drew asked coldly as he stared at her in annoyance

As if she was splashed with cold water Alex came back to her sences. Staring up at him as calmly as she could Alex flatly stated " I am Betty's empoyee for this bar and as far as I know I am here to help her and to make money to support myself so I would think I am not a bother. If I was a bother then she probably would fire me as for you sir you should learn some manners in talking to people. Ass hole." And with that Alex pushed past Drew to continue work. Betty could not help but laugh and stair at her poor grandson who was in shock to have been spoken to in such a manner.

"I like her she stays," Betty said and patted her grandsons arm and went back to work.

The rest of the night was tense. Alex served everyone in the bar including the ass hole with a smile on her face and tried to ignore the fact that he has not stopped staring at her since she called him an ass hole. Two hours in and the pack is starting to get roudy. One of the guys sees Alex and the s**t hits the fan from there.

"Hey look at the new chick she's hot," Tim said pointing Alex out to his buddy

"I bet I can get in them pants before you can Timmy boy," Tom chirped as he chugged the last of his beer and signaled for Alex to get another. After about the third round alex knew what everyone was drinking. When Tom signaled she just went behind the bar got his bud light and walked straight back with two others drinks along the way.

"thank you so much beautiful, my name is tom," he said through slurred words and as much swag as a drunk could have.

"I am Alex it's nice to meet you tom can I get you anything else," Alex asked while trying her best to keep a safe distance. While she did not think anyone would harm her she knew drunks could get handsy and she did not want to cause trouble when Drew already did not like her working with his grandmother. If he is important and complains to the Alpha I could be forced to leave.

"Yes baby I would love to have a few drinks with you," tom said as Tim helped to sneak around and bump Alex into Toms lap.

"I am not a drinker and I am working but thank you," Alex said as she tried to scramble out of the mans lap. Just as Alex was able to get to her feet she steped back and was stoped by something solid. She turned to find Drew standing behing her looking pissed.

"Tim Tom go home now you are done for the night," Drew ordered in a dominant tone. A tone that had everyone quiet and even made Alex alert.

"Yes alpha," The two men said in unison.

"Go home I dont want you here you can help betty tomorrow," Drew barked coldly at Alex and stormed away.

Alex looked to Betty who gave her a sad look but shook her head yes that it was ok to go. Out of the corner of Drew's eye he noticed this small action and was even more pissed. No one talks back to him or looks to anyone else for approval after I give an order. This girl comes out of no where and just does what ever. I don't want a mate or a b***h I just want to run my pack make an heir and do my job.
