Chapter 6

"The wolf witch pack that disappeared years ago," Drew asked, looking down in astonishment at the delicate woman who may be the most powerful creature he now ever met.

"Yes, my grandson and she is your mate, you say," Grams asked with a smirk. With that comment, Drew realized he messed up by letting his grams know that this woman was his mate. Not only did she not like Kelly, but my grams holds true to the moon goddess and likes to play match maker anyway.

"Fine but I will not change my bed or my life for her," Drew barked and stormed out after placing Alex back on her bed. Alex's fever had been broken for four hours. Drew had called his betta to inform him of what was going on and who the new wolf was and hashing out how to proceed. After hours, Drew could not bear to leave, still, so he and the betta stayed out on the balcony outside of Alex's room. It is close to 4:00AM when the lights in the house all illuminate and the sound of electricity is in the air, waking grams, drew, and his betta Brandon. Drew and Brandon burst through the balcony doors to find Alex sitting up in her bed in a confused state. Both men stopped in their tracks to stair at Alex, who was surrounded by an angelic white and gold aura. Brandon looked at the floor and instantly bowed. Drew was in awe and could not stop himself from walking to the angelic woman and touching her cheeks to see that she was not only really real but his. At that moment, when Alex was fully awakened, the mate bond took over and became stronger. As Drew lowered his head to place a kiss on Alex's lips, she suddenly pulled back and snapped Drew back to reality.

"What is going on, Alpha," Alex said as she pulled away and covered herself. As Alex's fear grew the cabin began to shake and the wind outside picked up rapidly.

"Relax dear you are ok, do you remember last night, child," Grams said as she rushed in from the doorway where she had just witnessed a turning point in her grandson and pack's whole life.

"Yes thank you I am fine. I would like to get dressed please," Alex said, looking down.

"We will wait down stairs dear. Please do relax I will make you some tea," Grams said as she patted Alex's head and looked for the men to follow her lead.

Brandon, still looking down, ran out the door and Alpha Drew followed with an irritated look and a grunt. Once alone, Alex began to panic. Jumping out of bed, Alex grabbed a pair of yoga pants and a sports tank top that had a built-in bra. Running with large breasts and no bra has proven to be uncomfortable once and, for some reason, Alex was in fear she would need to run. Being different at the orphanage made her the target of bullying. What will it be like for me as an adult if they hate me? I want peace not hate. As Alex went tothe balcony to try and see if she could jump down and flee she looked out to notice tornados and lightening streaking the sky.'Alex calm down, we are safe our mate will never hurt us' snow echoed in alex's head. 'you heard what he said he won't change. he doesn't even want this snow' Alex cried to her wolf and the rain started outside. 'mate' snow chirpped happily and with that Alex was spun around to face a pair of piercing hazel eyes with gold flecks. The warm hands while strong and gripping too tight on Alex's arms still made her feel at ease and calm.

"Relax little wolf," Drew said with a soft smile as he looked into Alex's eyes and could see there was a war going on in her head. Alex had never realized how handsome Drew was since she was trying so hard to avoid him when they first met. Now that she is face to face with im she can see how beautiful and mezmorizing his eyes are, with full lips, softly tanned skin, and a rock hard body. Alex breath caught in her throat and she looked away blushing. Drew buried his smile as to not upset Alex and cause an earthquake or something and just huged her. He had no idea why he could not wait for her and what came over him when he just looked at his gram's and turned on his heals and walked straight to Alex. When he seen her dressed and standing with her hand on the balcony door he new she was going to run and his heart sank. Just as she was about to open the door the rain hit and Drew instinctively reached for Alex. He needed to be with her to touch her and it irritated him, but looking down at his angel he could not stay mad.
