The next morning Alex was up at 3:00AM. Betty said she opens the bar up at 6:00AM and keeps it open until about 11:00PM monday through thursday. Friday and Saturday open is at the same time but close is pushed back until 2:00AM and closed on sunday to the humans but open to the pack of this teritory so I will still work every other sunday hours to be determined. After my run and shower I put on my black skinny jeans and a white v-neck shirt that shows just a little of my clevage and hugs my figure perfectly. My long blond hair is pulled up into balerina bun on top of my head and some light make up to the eyes with eye liner and out the door I go.
"Morning Alex," Betty chirped as she was opening the door to the bar.
"Good morning Grams. How are you today," Alex said as she held the door for the woman.
"It is a great morning and your first day are you excited," Betty said giddily as she turned on the lights and started the grill.
"I am although I have never worked in a bar I am sure it is not mutch different that being a waitress at the dinner I worked at," Alex said as she took chairs down from the tables.
"Well for today I am going to need you to deep clean this place. We are having a meeting here this weekend for business and to celebrate my grandson coming home," Betty chirped as she threw on some bacon eggs and toast for the two of them. After eating a quick breakfast with Betty the rest of the morning was basic. I managed to scrub the floors, tables, chairs, bar and all the shelves by noon.
"You my dear are my new favorite employee," Betty said as she glanced around her sparkiling bar.
"I am your only employee I thought," Alex said as she laughed and put the cleaning supplies away.
As the day went on the crowd picked up and the drinking really started. The majority of the customers here seem to be of this pack with a few humans and then some magical creatures who I was not sure about, but betty didn't mind them so I didn't either. Over the next four days I learned the in's and out's of the bar and by Friday I was able to run the bar and the grill like I had been there for months. Betty was impressed with out fast Alex was able to grasp new things and how graceful she was with everything. At first glance Alex looks as if she is a shy and quiet meek little girl, but once you speak with her you can hear how intelligent and strong and outspoken she is as well as confident in herself. Betty could tell this girl was a leader and after hearing of her past and how she has yet to meet or find her wolf she hurt inside and vowed to help her. With Friday evening approaching Betty and Alex have been getting ready for the homecoming of a bunch of the warrior pack memebers and their Alpha.
Alex is getting the last of the food out before the guest's of honor are to arrive and Alex is nervouse. If the Alpha does not like her or tells her to leave she will have to choice. It is customary to ask the alpha of that teritory if you may stay there as a lone wolf or ask to join the pack. I am asking to be a lone wolf but to work in the pack's bar and live in their motel. That is a lot from an orphan wolf who don't even have a wolf. The fight in Alex head continues as the door opens up and a tall muscular man fills the door way.
"Ahh my baby," Betty screams as she runs to the man in the door. With in a few steps the man was in the bar and had Betty's petite form wrapped in a bear hug.
"Hey grams, how are you doing I missed you," Drew said as he huged Betty
"I am doing so much better I have found some help for this place, I am less stressed, you are finally home," Betty started but was cut short by Drew.
"You found help where," Drew asked through squinted eyes and then the scent hit him. Mate.
