Mandy's pov And there i was standing like a statue with numb feet and cold hands. i had no clue how to get out of the situation i found myself in. I was standing very close to the guy of my dreams,Blake Than Dominos , who had his left hand wrapped around my waist. i had seen him for the first time when i came for registration and transfer processing with my parents i had just been transferred from my previous college to this one after a very dreadful incident that almost claimed my life . we were sitted in the Chancellor's office . my parents were talking to him . Having nothing to do my eyes wandered off and then i spotted him a few miles away from the office window . He was on the basket ball court playing basketball with what seemed to be his team . He had a purple tank top on with a pair of black shorts. My jaw dropped as he pulled off the tank top to reveal the hottest body i had ever seen. The scheme played back in my mind in slow motion and i gulped. The voices of the girls could be heard all the way as they cheered for the extremely hot basketball player. He took a break to get a drink and that was when I heard my mum calling. "Mandy, Mandy" she called followed by a tap on the shoulder. I turned my head and sat up straight. "Here is an invitation to the schools opening ceremony" The Counsellor said putting forward a gold colored envelope . "Hope you will all be in attendance", he added as mum took the envelope from him. "we will try our best but Mandy will be there for sure"Dad said as he stood up and shaked hands with the Counsellor while mum flashed a smile . I stood up and managed a smile before following my parents who were already making there way to the door. we went down a few stairs before making our way towards the packing lot. I remembered the hot guy I had seen earlier and I quickly turned around to see if I could catch a glimpse of him but he was no where to be seen . I used my eyes to scout through the field but still there was no sight of him . I signed and turned around. we were already close to our car so I quickly opened the door to the backset and went in. I let out another sign in disappointed as mum and Dad got in and we drove off. *Fast forward to a few hours before this present moment I was still in bed when my phone rang ,I rolled over a couple of times. The ringing stopped for a while and then it started again . I sat up and reached for my phone on the side table. it was Becky calling. she was my best and only friend. I took the call and placed the phone close to my right ear. Her voice came almost immediately "rise and shine sleepy head" I chuckled "it's not even 6am yet" I stated rubbing my left eye. she giggled slightly "I know ,I know but I just wanted to remind you that the opening ceremony is today" "I know that already"I replied "good" she said " I will be coming over soon to dress you up " I raised my left eyebrow. "dress me up?,but why?",I asked puzzled . she laughed "two reasons" she said . "one, you have a terrible fashion sense and two , my brother will be there" my face lit up immediately. I quickly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom. "Hurry up " i said before putting the phone down . she giggled before ending the call. Becky was right about my fashion sense. it was beyond terrible. I had serious wardrobe problems. it earned me ridiculous nicknames at my previous college some of which were rainbow girl, candy and spackle princess. Becky was my only hope when it came to beauty tips and fashion, she always tried to teach me how to do my makeup and chose the perfect dress for any occasion but I was indeed a terrible student. she resulted to always dressing me up when the need arises. After returning from school for the registration. I had called Becky and told her everything about the guy I saw. my detailed description helped her guess exactly whom it was . she had sent me pictures of him confirm if she was right and oh my he was cuter than I remember. she proceeded to tell me that the guy in question was her immediate elder brother Blake . she had also promised to introduce us after I had told her that I had a crush on him. It didn't take long for her to get to my family house. she came directly to my room and in no time I was all dolled up. we left for the ceremony in her car as my parents were off on a business trip . When we arrived she waited no time in introducing me to her handsome hot brother and he was more breathtaking up close . she didn't leave out the fact that I had a crush on him and it made me blush when he smiled hearing that . "she is pretty" he had said . He held my right had as we walked towards the event ground with Becky tagging along. Soon we were cornered by a group of reporters and camera men.. They almost had us surrounded. They had mics and phones pointed at us as they atopped us on our tracks throwing questions like "Mr Than Dominos how do you feel about the recent challenge?" ,"what should we expect from the school's team this year?","will you still be playing for the school even after graduation?". Becky and Blake looked so composed as Blake answered almost all their questions effortlessly and Becky flashed a steady smile . I managed to hide behind Blake's broad shoulders hopping not to be seen . suddenly one of the reporters asked "who is the beautiful lady hiding behind you ? " I froze. Blake moved away slightly to reveal me . there was no hiding place anymore. The cameras were all in, taking pictures of us. Blake was still holding my hands but that didn't comfort me at all. I lowered my eyes wishing I could just disappear at this very moment. I looked up at Blake and caught him looking at me , he grinned at me . "My girlfriend, she's my girlfriend" he said confidently still looking at me. my eyes widened . Becky giggled while the reporters murmured amongst themselves. he smiled at me before turning to face the reporters. "How can we be so sure ?" another reporter asked , she was a young lady and didn't seem to be pleased by the sudden news. "you need proof?"Blake asked and the reporters chorused "yes" Before I could come to terms with what was going on , Blake had already his right hand round my waist and drew me closer to him . he was facing me now . leaning in with his head I heard him say "kiss me " I froze almost like a statue , my heart racing and my feet stuck to the ground . first he called me his girlfriend and now he wants me to kiss him ? and that too Infront of so many people?. The thought of it brought butterflies to my stomach but made me so uneasy at the same time . I was way beyond my comfort zone . I needed to get of here and fast . I turned my head towards Becky direction hoping I could at least get her to help me out here but Blake swiftly moved my head back to it's previous position . He was staring directly into my eyes . His eyes were filled with intense desire and that made me shiver "kiss me sweety" His voice came again ,this time it was sharp and demanding.
