🌸CHAPTER 1: THE PRINCESS WHO HATED RULES
In the bright kingdom of Luminara, where the clouds glowed like cotton candy and flowers sang when the wind blew, there lived a curious little girl named Princess Poppy. Poppy was ten years old, with curly black hair tied in two blue ribbons, eyes full of sparkle, and a laugh that could echo across the castle walls. But there was one thing Princess Poppy didn’t like. She hated palace rules. There were rules for how to walk, rules for when to talk, and even rules for how much syrup she could pour on her pancakes! “Rules are boring,” she sighed one morning, chasing her gray cat Bobby around the garden. “I just want to do things my way!” Bobby meowed as if to agree. At breakfast, her father, King Rowan, looked down kindly from his golden chair. “Poppy, my dear,” he said in his deep voice, “Obedience protects you. The rules are here to keep you safe.” Poppy swung her legs and muttered, “But I don’t need protecting. I can take care of myself!” The King smiled but said nothing more. He only added, > “Just remember, my daughter — some things in this castle are f*******n for a reason.” That made Poppy even more curious. Later that afternoon, while chasing Bobby down the hall, she noticed a shiny silver door at the end of a long corridor. She had never seen it before. It shimmered like moonlight and smelled faintly of cinnamon and sugar. Poppy tilted her head. “Now what could be hiding behind that door?” Bobby purred, as if daring her to find out.
