Gunner
Sierra parted her lips as I cupped her face and pressed my lips against hers. I wanted her. I had always wanted her. Ever since I saw her for the first time. I hated that my brother got to her first. She was beautiful. Now that my brother was gone, I could have her.
“Gunner,” Sierra whispered, “Take me.”
“Patience, baby,” My hands find her hips and I whisper, “I don’t want to hurt you.”
“I’m used to rough. It’s the only thing I know.”
I clench my jaw, “You deserve to be loved. I want to make love to you gently.”
“What if I don’t want gentle?”
“Sierra,” I sigh, “If I take you as I want, you won’t be able to walk for weeks.”
Sierra wrapped her arms around my neck and peppered kisses. I wanted to throw her down and rip her clothes off. Take her hard. Tie her up. I couldn’t do that though. I needed to be loving and gentle.
“Gunner, you want to know a secret?”
“Tell me, baby.”
“The last time Connor forced himself on me, there was one thing that got me through it. I kept my eyes closed and imagined it was you. That you were making love to me.”
“I hate that you had to go through that. If only…”
Sierra pressed her finger to my lips and shook her head. “Don’t blame yourself. You know how powerful he was. He had connections everywhere.”
“I hate that he hurt you. I once told you I’d get you out… I failed you. Broke my promise.”
“Colin is gone and isn’t coming back. I’m alive and well.”
She pulled back and smiled, “Make love to me, Gunner.”
Sierra tugged on my pants and wrapped her hand around my length. I closed my eyes and sucked in a breath through my teeth as she pumped my d**k. It sent pleasure through me. I was so hard at just one touch.
“You like this?”
“Yes,” I moaned, “Don’t stop.”
My head lolled back as she kissed my neck. Her hand stroking me slowly, making a growl erupt from my throat. “It’s so hard, Gunner.”
“f**k, I need you, Sierra. I need to make love to you.”
“That’s all I’ve ever wanted.” She whispered.
I opened my eyes as she pulled away from me and laid down on the bed. My eyes darkened, a lust glazing over as I loomed over her. I gripped her thighs and whispered, “Are you ready, babe?”
“I’ve been ready.”
I pulled her shorts down and tossed them over my shoulder. I knelt between her legs and took her jaw in my hand, my thumb grazes her soft skin as she parts her lips. She grabs the hem of my shirt and pulls it up over my head. I pull away and do the same to her shirt.
“You’re so beautiful, darling.”
Sierra leans back and runs her hands down her chest and makes her way between her legs. “Are you going to stare at me all night or are you going to f**k me?”
After making love to Sierra for three hours, I sat at the edge of the bed. I glanced back to see Sierra sleeping peacefully. I laid back down on my side and pulled her into my chest. So many nights, I’ve dreamed of holding her like this. I closed my eyes and fell into darkness with an angel in my arms.
The next morning, I wake up alone. I groan when I smell bacon wafting in the air. Sierra is so used to doing everything being married to Colin. He was a spineless d**k and didn’t deserve her. When I enter the kitchen, I can’t help but smile. Sierra has her hair up in a messy bun and wearing one of my shirts. I can see her ass as she bends over the counter. I sneak up behind her and wrap my arms around her shoulders, placing a kiss to her neck.
“Gunner, I cooked breakfast for you. You know, to thank you for everything.”
“You didn’t have to do that. I can cook.”
“I know.” She murmurs.
I glance down to her hand notice she’s taken off her wedding rings. My smile never fades when I spin her around and cage her to the counter. “You took them off.”
“I couldn’t wear that lie another second.”
“Good.”
“Gunner, what’s going to happen?”
“I’m going to protect you.”
“No,” she shakes her head, “I mean with your mother. She’s going to expect me to attend his funeral.”
“Let me take care of everything. You and I can go away for a while. Just us.”
“Where?”
“Where would you like to go?”
“I don’t know.”
I cup her face and kiss her gently, “Anywhere, sweetheart. I’ll take you wherever you want.”
“Well, I’ve never been anywhere. Colin wouldn’t allow it.”
“He’s gone. You can go anywhere now.”
“I don’t care where we go, as long as you’re with me.”
“I know a place we could go to. It’s secluded and nobody would ever think to go there.”
“Where?”
“I’ve got a cabin in the woods. No one knows about it. It’s perfect.”
I bought some land in Texas and built a cabin. It would be perfect for a romantic getaway. Just me and her. It would be a long drive, but totally worth it. If I could get her away from my treacherous family, we might actually stand a chance. Not to mention, the threat that could put her in danger.
“We can leave tonight. That way, nobody will know.”
“You’re such a sweetheart, Gunner.”
“Only for you, babe. Come on, let’s have breakfast so I can take you back to the bedroom and make love to you.”
