Chapter 15

Five hours into the flight and Sarah woke up starving. After a quick break to the bathroom, she proceeded to the center of the airplane where she could hear the typing of Amir on the laptop keyboard. She walked slowly toward him; he was so concentrated that she didn't want to disturb him. Just as she decides to turn back and find the host, her stomach growled loudly. Causing Amir to stop and look to her, of course, she fell a little embarrassed.

"Sorry, I am just a little hungry"

"I figure you will be; I had the host hit up the food, and it should be here any minutes. Come take a sit"

"How did you know...."

"Lucky guess"

Closing down his laptop, Amir turned his attention toward Sarah "Did you have a good rest"

"Yes, I did"

And as they continued their conversation, in the back kitchen of the airplane, another conversation was ongoing between the two hosts. "Did you see how he has been checking up on her every ten minutes for the past five hours?"

"I believe we are witnessing history in the making"

"Don't quickly say that, after all, remember where we are going"

"You are right Blake; by the way, I wonder why she hadn't asked"

"Ask what Ben?"

"Why there are two men as host and no woman, everyone who ever travel with Amir, always ask for the ladies"

"I wonder also, anyway let's bring this food over. Sometimes I wonder how we ever ended up as host when our job title clearly says, bodyguard and more"

The men walked toward Amir and Sarah to find them laughing about something that Sarah was showing Amir. The sight before them more than pleased them. They have been working for Amir for more than five years now as his second and third in command. True be told, they always believe Amir didn't need a bodyguard.

It was three ago, they had established their little army; unfortunately, it was also during that time that Amir had lost his mother. A lost that brought him to the deep end, seen him laughing and just relaxing with Sarah, was a fresh breath. One they were hoping would last, but it was too early to tell.

Upon seen them, Sarah lowered her phone and adjusted herself in her seat as one of the hosts places a table in front of her. As he did so, her eyes landed on his left ear where he had a small microphone in. Her eyes went to the other guy that was serving Amir and saw the same earpiece. 'That would explain it, she thought'

Thanking them, she took the chicken sandwich and bit into it, releasing a low sensual moan thinking that it was low enough for Amir not to hear. However, Amir did hear and upon hearing it, almost drop his sandwich. When he looked at Sarah, her eyes were closed as she savors her food. In his heart, he kept repeating those words "GOD please help me"

As Sarah takes the last bite of her sandwich, she felt eyes upon her. Turning her head toward Amir, she sees him observing her.

"I have never seen a woman eat this fast"

"I don't usually, but I was hungrier than I thought"

"I will keep that in mind for sure"

Giving him a small smile, she proceeded to clean her desk but didn't have time to, for the host did so. Remembering Amir had been crazily typing on his laptop and thinking that he will probably get back to doing so. She turned her attention back to the TV screen and decided to watch the latest power ranger movie.

"What are you going to watch" say, Amir

"Power Rangers' movies"

"Mind if I watch it with you"

"No, I don't mind" she was a little surprised with his request but did not comment on it. Giving him the left side of her earphone, she started the movie.

Amir didn't know what pushed him to ask to watch the movie with her, but it did give him the possibility to draw a little closer to her and inhale her perfume. She smelled of strawberry mixed with watermelon. The smell was pleasing to his nose. From the corner of his eyes, he watched her, her composure had him wanting to keep her by his side for the rest of his life. There was no doubt about it, he wanted her. He wanted to always be surrounded by her smile, her laugh, her touch, and her crazy yet subtle way. He just hopes she won't run away once she lives his reality.

Blake and Ben, who were currently located at the back of the plane, watch the couple. It was evident that Amir had a sincere interested in the woman sitting next to him. During their times of employment, Amir had never shown any interest in the other s*x. But to go as far as ask to watch a movie and share headset now that was unexpected and could hold more meaning than they dare hope for. At that very moment, they swore to themselves that Sarah will become the apple of their eyes. They will protect her even if it came at the cost of their life; the slight show of happiness exuberating from their employer was more than they could have ever bargain.
