Chapter 1: She Was His Cure
The countryside road stretched endlessly as a woman in a wedding dress fled for her life.
The extravagant train of her gown tangled around her legs, tripping her as she staggered through the mud. With a desperate cry, she collapsed.
"Stay back!" She hurled handfuls of dirt and pebbles at her pursuers.
The kidnappers advanced with lecherous grins. "Why run, pretty thing? We'll take you somewhere fun—"
CRASH!
A black sedan plowed through the darkness, sending the men flying.
Leng Lingshuang gasped, squinting past the blinding headlights to meet the driver's obsidian gaze. She scrambled to the car and pounded on the window. "Please—I was kidn*pped! Help me!"
The man's expression darkened. Without warning, he yanked her inside.
"What are you—mmph!" She fought against his iron grip, but the cramped interior offered no escape. "Let me go!"
Today was supposed to be her wedding day. She'd worn this white dress to meet her fiancé Lu Shaotian at the registry office—only to be abducted by masked men. Now her would-be rescuer had become another predator.
His heated breath scorched her neck as he growled, "Want my help? Then help me first."
A glance outside showed the dazed kidnappers limping away. No one would hear her screams here.
"My family's wealthy—I'll pay anything!" she bargained.
The man scoffed, pinning her down. "I could give you money..." His hand slid downward.
Despair swallowed her. The torn wedding dress, her exposed collarbones, the floral scent in her hair—all were irresistible temptations. Especially for a man who'd just fled a hotel after being drugged by his treacherous fiancée.
This desperate woman had become his only cure.

When it ended, he withdrew without a word, straightening his clothes with aristocratic poise despite their animalistic coupling.
"You bastard—I'll call the police!" Lingshuang clawed at the locked doors, her phone long gone.
"Breathe a word of this," he said icily, "and I'll ruin you."
"After what you did? I'll spend my last penny to see you jailed!"
His smirk chilled her blood as he eyed her tattered dress. "Go ahead. Do you think the illustrious Lu family would accept their heir's bride after she's been defiled?"
