It was a dark stormy night. It may snow, Arohi thought looking out of the window, there were no stars twinkling in the sky nor was the moon shining. It was dark, pitch dark night. Her aimless starring at the black sky broke when she heard something, as if something was cutting the air and then she spotted it, a sleek black chopper. She wouldn’t have spotted it if not for her sharp eyes and the light on the chopper. She starred at it till it was out of her sight.

Jay stood and didn’t even flinch when the chopper landed. He smiled as the door opened and his best friend got down wearing a black suit and grey over coat. Though his aura was intimating his eyes looked tired and lost. His hairs were messy but it made him look more handsome. 

“Hi” Jay greeted him but without even acknowledging Jay’s presence he walked straight to the car. Jay followed him and sat at the passenger seat. He gestured the driver to start and then looked at Jay

“It’s past midnight, what are you doing here you should have been asleep” he asked Jay.

“My best friend is coming after so many days I wanted to meet him” Jay said

“I was just gone for two days” he said rolling his eyes totally knowing the reason why Jay was there. He just wanted there for him

“Thanks” he mumbled looking out of the window at the dark night

“Dost ko thanks bolega (Now you will say thanks to your friend)” Jay said turning at the back night

“Mumbai is teaching you manners Rajveer” he said playfully and next second cursed himself to see Rajveer's face go rigid.

“RV….” Jay started but Rajveer cut him off

“How is the pack?” he just asked ignoring Jay’s earlier sentence.

“It’s all good except a rouge sneaked in evening, he was going to attack a girl but no worries I saved her” Jay said looking in front and waving his hand dismissing way. Rajveer felt a knot in his stomach for a second

“A girl?” he asked

“Yep the new transfer student and man she is beautiful!” Jay said only to hear his Alpha gave a growl. Jay saw the driver increase his grip on the steering in fear

“I am warning you no goofing around with humans” Rajveer said glaring at him his eyes change from the shade of aqua to golden brown. 

“Dude I know” Jay said calming him down and turned looking at Rajveer worried. Rajveer took a deep breadth

“I know you won’t do it, it’s just I…I….” and he stopped as Jay laughed

“You know not a cup of your tea to apologise” Jay said in between his laughs and a smiled spread Rajveer's lips looking at Jay

“So the girl….” Rajveer started

“The beautiful girl” Jay said only to hear Rajveer growl again and made him laugh again. Unknown to them the driver was sweating profusely.

She was running, running in the forest. Was she mad? Even after the evening incident what was she doing in the forest? It was cold! She like winters but this was freezing cold! She can die, she was not wearing a sweater too. She was wearing a fancy red satin dress and heels. Who the f**k wears this in a forest! The first thing she do is remove the heels but then she froze as he heard a growl. A growl which made her shiver. She looked around but there was no one, no wolf. Then she heard foot steps, lots of foot steps! They were nearing… she started to run, run without looking back, she heard a growl and then stop to turn. There he stood! Again! All she could see was nothing but his aqua eyes, which looked as if piercing in her soul. She lift her hand and was going to take her step towards him when he said

“I reject you”

Unbearable pain shot in her chest making her clutch her heart. 

“I reject you” she heard again before she opened her eyes and shot up and sat on her bed. Panting heavily she looked around to see sunlight outside. It was morning! She looked for her phone and found her hands were sweating, in fact she was sweating a lot. She clicked the lock button to see it’s seven. She has class in an hour! She bounced out of the bed like a spring and rushed to get brush. She does not want to get late on her first day itself.

Rajveer walked buttoning his cuffs in the dining room and saw his family.

“Good morning people!” he said taking the seat at the left of the chair of family head

“Morning son” a lady in her late forties greeted him back pouring juice for him

“When did you return Bhai (Brother)?” Samantha asked

“Last night” he said and turned to the lady “Maa please sit will you? There are people to do this work” he said

“Of course your son is worried about you Naina” he heard his father and a mock dripping that sentence

“Dad” he warned, he was in no mood of teasing

“Aditya” came a simultaneous warning from Naina

“Fine you guys are no fun” Aditya said with a bad face and concentrated on his breakfast 

“How was your meeting?” he asked after sometime

“It was fine Dad and Mr James is interested for the investment” Rajveer said having a bite of his breakfast.

“Hello men not discussing business on my dining table” Naina said in a stern tone making them shut their mouth

“Where is Kabir?” Rajveer asked Samantha

“He has some pack work at the pack house, so he went there” she replied casually

“I heard there is a new human in Shimla” Aditya asked

“Yes I heard Jay saying she was attacked by rouge” Naina added

“Rajveer please look in to this, we have to protect everyone on our land especially humans we have vowed to protect them and to top it she was a girl” Aditya said, he looked serious

“A beautiful girl” Samantha said and heard Rajveer grunt, his wolf will go all fizzy listening about this girl

“What? Jay said it” Samantha said looking at Rajveer’s expression

“I have some work at the office, Maa please visit the uni your presence is needed there, I will see you at the office” he said the last sentence to his father and ignored his sister

“Could have greeted me too Alpha” Samantha said as Rajveer walked out

“Hope your day be full of adventures” she yelled so that he could hear her

‘What more adventurous can happen in his already messed up life' he said getting in his car. 

Arohi entered the college premise to see it all empty. No she wasn't late but instead she was very early. As the thought she will get late so she did all her work in jet speed which made her land in the college early, maybe even before the cleaning staff. But she likes it. She went to the office and saw a lady in her thirties seating on the help desk. Wonder what she was doing here so early, she thought and walked to her

"Hi I am the new transfer student" Arohi said

"From Mumbai or Delhi?" the lady asked so someone else was also there with her 

"Mumbai" she said being thankful to not be the only new face in the mid term

"Arohi?" the lady asked

"Arohi it is" Arohi said with a smile and the lady handed her schedule

"I am the transfer student from Delhi" she heard a girl from behind her when shen she was busy reading the schedule

"Kaira" the girl told her name to the lady

"Here" the lady gave her her schedule "All the best you two" she wished them and that's when Kaira saw Arohi

"Thank God I have someone with me to share all the curious looks" Kaira said marking Arohi laugh as she was thinking the same

"Kaira" Make introduced herself

"I know, heard you" Arohi laughed and shok hands with Kaira

"I am Arohi" she introduced herself

"You are human" Kaira said as they walked out of the office

"What do you mean by that Asif you are some supernatural?" she said and Kaira smiled, she liked Arohi

"I meant you are a nice human" she corrected making Arohi smile

"That toh I am" Arohi said as they walked in corridors. There were few students now in the building.

"So what's your first lecture?" Kaira asked

"English" she said

"Hey mine too...." Before Kaira could continue Arohi collided with someone.....
