6:15 AM

Palak is sleeping peacefully but how can a devil best friend can let her sleep peacefully. Her phone rings and due to which she wakes up before the alarm wakes her up. At first she ignores the call but again it rings, this time without checking the caller she receives the call.

Palak – Hello (in sleepy voice)

Tani - Good morning aloo and wake up you sleepy head.

Palak – Why are you calling me at this time?

Tani – Haww now I can’t even call my Bestiee!!! Is there any particular time to call you?

Palak – Tani stop being dramatic and tell me why do you call me at this hour?

Tani – Nothing I just want a talk with you. It’s been week that you are not in contact with me.

Palak – You just wanted to talk with me that’s why you call me this early!

Tani – Yes! Why are you saying like this?

Palak – Ms. Rai if you won’t hang up the call in next five seconds I’ll be come at your place, chop you into small pieces and then feed them to your pet dogs.

Tani – Okay, I’m scared but can you please drop this idea of killing me because I don’t want to die single.

Listening Tani’s reply Palak gets up from bed and starts laughing hysterically, soon Tani joins her laughing.

Palak – I also don’t want to see you die single.

Tani – Finally someone is concern about me being single from so long.

Palak – Leave all these and tell me what you want to talk.

Tani – Nothing I just call you to spoil your sleep.

Palak – Tani stop annoying me if you don’t have anything to talk then shut your shitty mouth and listen to me carefully.

Tani – OK I’m all ears.

Then she describes Tani about yesterday’s incidence including the mixed feelings about Ritwik. For few seconds Tani doesn’t reply so Palak asks, Are you there?

Tani – Oh! My God!

Palak – You have only this to say!

Tani – I knew it before that maybe his eyes are on you but I’m sure now.

Palak – Oh really! So, When did you know about it?

Tani – I knew it when we met Ritwik and his friends at club. He was starring at you with so much intensity.

Palak – Don’t you think that you should have tell me before?

Tani – I thought you are not interested in him so I let it go.

Palak – Yes, actually you are right I’m not interested in him.

Tani – So, if you are not interested in him then what were the butterflies doing in your stomach when you were close to him?

Palak – I don’t know why I felt like that.

Tani – You are confused with your feelings and you’re making me confused too.

Palak – Leave it, I’ll talk later or else I’ll be late for work, Bye!

Tani – Fine, Ms. Busy Bye!

Saying this she hangs up the call gets up from the bed and head towards the washroom. After taking shower, wearing office formals she head towards kitchen to help and join ladies of the house. They make breakfast with lots of gossips and teasing then they all had breakfast. Today Viaan is in naughty mood, he is going to everyone and plays with them and eats little bit from each plate. Then all left for their respective works.

Today Palak have to go to Oberoi’s for last time because she has to check all the props and decors which were used in function were sent back to distributors or not and also she wants to thank Ritwik personally for helping her.

She reaches Oberoi’s and asks for Ritwik to receptionist to which she said that he is in his cabin. Then Palak asks her that can she meet him now? Receptionist replies that first she have to inform Ritwik about her arrival and then she can let her go. Saying this receptionist calls Ritwik and inform him about Palak and he said that let Palak come in my cabin. Lily (the receptionist) informs Palak that Ritwik sir is waiting for you in his cabin. Saying thanks to Lily Palak moves to Ritwik’s cabin. Reaching there she knocks the door and listening come in she enters and Ritwik gestures her to take a seat.

“Palak are you fine and what are you doing here? You should be at your home taking rest.” Ritwik said being concern.

“I’m all fine and that too because of you. That’s why I’m here to thank you.” Palak said genuinely.

“No need Palak, remember we are friends so friends can do this much for each other.” He said frankly.

“Still you helped me so much. So treat from my side?” She said with a smile.

“But today I’m little busy, it won’t be possible.” He said hesitatingly.

“No problem whenever you are free we will go then only but you have to come.” She said.

“OK fine I will dm you tomorrow about my schedule than we can decide time and place.”

“Great then I’ll take your leave.” Listening this from Palak, Ritwik’s mind started thinking for the idea to stop her because it is her last day at work in Oberoi’s and he have no idea that when she will come again to work in Oberoi’s. So to stop her for some while he said in hurry,

“Why are you leaving so early? I also forget to ask you before that what will you have?”

“No actually I have to go to office so I have to leave now.”

“I insist atleast one cup of coffee.”

“Ok fine.”

“And I don’t think if you mind having cookies with it.”

“I don’t mind having it when Mr. CEO is offering me.” She said while teasing me.

“Well well, how can I not offer when a beautiful girl is sitting in front of me.” He play along with her and listening this she blush a little but hides it with a smile. But her blush is noticed by Ritwik and he is happy that he is the reason behind it. Then he orders two cups of coffee with some cookies.

“Is this compliment only for me or you have also said to other beautiful girls with whom you had coffee?”

“Actually you are the lucky one because I don’t give compliments this early.” Palak is going to say something but in meantime waiter arrives with their coffees, putting coffee mugs on table he lefts. They started sipping their coffee and there is silence because they both don’t know how to continue the conversation. After few seconds Ritwik remembers something so he said, “Palak, as per my knowledge only those people have claustrophobia who have faced drastic incident or having some kind of fear, so is there any reason behind your phobia?”

“Yes there is reason behind it but I can’t share it because it is too emotional and personal.” She said with an emotionless face and sensing her discomfort Ritwik immediately speaks, “It’s okay forget about it that I ever ask anything.”

Listening this she smiles little and said, “Thanks for coffee now I think I should leave as you must be having work and I am getting late for office.”

“Okay meet you soon and will message you about the timing.”

“Bye! See you soon.” Saying this she lefts his cabin and suddenly she bumps with someone. It is Ruhani who was going to Ritwik’s cabin to hand over him some files. “Sorry” Both said at same time.

“Don’t be sorry I didn’t see you coming it’s my fault.” Ruhani said collecting all the papers which fell on the floor.

“It’s okay no one was at fault.” She said collecting papers to help Ruhani.

“By the way I’m Ruhani Oberoi.” Saying this she extends her hand for a handshake.

“I’m Palak Mehta and by any chance are you related to Ritwik? I just ask because your surnames are same and that day you were talking with him very frankly.” She said shaking her hand with Ruhani.

“Yes, I’m his sister and right now working here as an intern. I know about you actually everyone in Oberoi’s knows you.” Ruhani replies.

“Oh really! How do everyone knows me?” She asks in curiosity.

“Yes because you had really done a great work and yesterday you fainted so everyone was talking about that. By the way, are you fine?”

“I’m fine, it is nice talking to you but today I’m in hurry so I’ll take your leave.”

Saying bye to Palak, Ruhani enters in Ritwik’s cabin. Palak lefts for Mehta’s.

IN RITWIK’S CABIN:

Ruhani directly enters inside, because of sudden noise of door opening he looks at the door to see that who comes inside without his permission. “Bhai I’m here to give you these files.”

“Ruhu atleast knock before entering inside because you are an intern here and not my sister.”

“I’m sorry Bhai, this will not going to happen next time. By the way I met Palak outside when I’m on the way of your cabin, she is really polite.” Saying this she is waiting for Ritwik’s reaction.

“Ya I know she is polite and humble too but at time she is really serious according to situation.” He said with a smile.

Seeing him smiling while talking about Palak, Ruhani smirks. After sometime on completing her paper work she lefts his cabin. Coming out of the cabin , she immediately calls her dad. After few rings he picks up and immediately Ruhani starts speaking

Ruhani - Dad!! I have breaking news.

Dad – What?

Ruhani – Today I met Palak and she is really nice and well mannered and when I had talked about her to bhai, he was giving me slight dreamy look on listening her name.

Dad – You just met her first time, try to interact with her for few more days then you’ll get to know her real personality.

Ruhani – OK as you say but what is your views about bhai’s behavior?

Dad – He is behaving like this for the very first time for a girl.

Ruhani – Yes you are right, by the way I’ll talk to you later otherwise your son will shout on me.

Dad – OK bye.

Saying this they hangs up the call.
