Not far from the main city, at Peak valley estate, there's an apartment that specifically stood out among all the villas there, accommodating a few young elites. Austin smiled to himself as he drove through the apartment gate, he hasn't felt anything like this in years, maybe tonight really meant something to him. Putting his apartment pass code his phone rang “ding, ding” uhh grandpa not again he said as he answered his phone “Austin, you're not to miss the date tomorrow, no excuses” a solemn but commanding voice came from the phone He added again “Abraham will pick you up early, be prepared before his arrival” Austin shoulders dropped in defeat “okay grandpa” He stared at his phone in disbelief as he ends the call. He's really wondering why his parents want him to get married early, they would have let him off if he had someone in mind, but he only had Tessa around him who was like a family friend and he never showed any interest whatsoever to her. The next morning he found himself in his parents mansion, the royal luxury settings really showed how well off his family were. He looked really smart in his navy blue tuxedo, his soft hair combed to the back, one would think it was a really large occasion he wanted to attend. “You're here” he heard a soft voice come from behind him, he looked around to see his mom, dressed in a floral gown with a scarf draped round her neck and her little heels ,her faint descending steps exude pure feminine energy, she's a really admirable person. “I've missed you mom” Austin said as he approached for a hug, “oh prove it by staying behind for the date with the Belaries” She said to him, he looked at her softly and replied, “don't worry mom I'm here to stay” At that moment he just wanted to please her, “please don't disappoint us, you know how much this means to us” Before he could reply he heard a voice coming from the staircase “don't beg him, why are you begging him, this unfilial miscreant i call son” His father shouted scolding him “don't talk to him like that, please” Sylvia replied calmly, stopping Austin from saying anything “woman you won't tell me how to talk to my son” He retorted “Alfred, he's still your son no matter what, and nothing changes” She said to him coldly in a calm demeanor. All the anger in Alfred's body washed away immediately as he made his way to the room. Sylvia was not just any woman, she's well known for her intelligence, dominance and softness, this mix made her outstanding among all women in Sapphire Coast. Her influence on Beckham Groups is what gives it an upper hand among all the companies in Sapphire Coast, making everyone want to work with them. Her being the brain behind the success of the company remains unknown to the public, but there are still rumors going around. Austin is more like his mother in every manner, no DNA needed, they display the same character. “Keep defending him okay??” Before Sylvia could answer, a maid came “the Belaries are here ma'am” Sylvia turned to her “Allow them in, and don't forget the snacks, they enjoy cinnamon rolls the best” the maid nodded in affirmation while stealing glances at Austin. A couple in their mid fifties elegantly dressed walked into the room, behind them was a young lady, their daughter Serena. Putting on a long sleeve pink knee length dress, her long blonde hair dancing as she takes each step, with her stilettos really displayed confidence. Her skin smooth as silk, no blemish, with perfect face features shows how well she's being taken care of. The adults exchanged pleasantries before facing their children, “Austin is really a grown man now, I see your work and impact on the group, I'm sure your parents will be proud of you” Mr Belarie said with a smile “Thank you sir” Austin replied politely. The adults took their seats, chattering and exchanging ideas about the business world. Serena on the other hand stole multiple glances at Austin who was busy on his phone, he was really handsome he thought to herself. Sylvia noticing the silence between Austin and Serena decided to break in, “Austin meet Serena, the only child of the Belaries” Austin raised his head up, looking at Serena “hi Serena, I'm Austin” Serena quickly took his hands nice to meet you Austin, we've met before” she said as she smiled, Austin stared at her, wondering what the young lady in front of him was spouting “at grandpa Felix's birthday banquet, we were very young you may not remember” She quickly added, he nodded his head “ Well i can't remember you” Feeling disappointed Serena replied “it's fine, don't worry about it” Sylvia seeing the awkwardness added “i hope you guys can be friends” Austin grinned at his mom “of course we can” He said. Austin stared at his custom made Roberto Cavalli wristwatch and said “Mom, Dad, I have a class to attend and soccer training today, hope to meet all of you tomorrow again, same time right?” Sylvia replied “you won't be meeting us all, you'll be meeting Serena instead” Austin in disbelief nodded in affirmation because it was much expected. He bid them all farewell and made his way to the chauffeur that brought him. Back in his apartment he changed into something casual and fit for teaching. Sadie woke up from her long sleep just to meet up for class, she spent the night dreaming about her time with Austin, during the whole time she was subconsciously aware of the whole scenario. Miranda, who noticed her flushed face, couldn't help but ask “girl are you fine?” Sadie, looking a little troubled, replied “I kissed my crush last night” Miranda shrugged and said “oh i see, is that why you're worried?” Sadie quietly thought to her, is it actually worth the worry? “I mean… even if anything wanted to happen, I wanted a slow burn, things are moving to fast” Miranda not knowing what else to say replied “maybe you should talk to him about it, it's just a crush you may not know him too well” Sadie thought to herself, this actually makes sense but can she face him right now?. Both girls left the dorm for class together, as they arrived at the school garage they dispersed. Sadie tried to look around for any familiar car, but she saw none so she went on about her day. In the class Tessa, who had already grown a liking for Sadie, picked a seat right beside her. As Sadie approached her seat Tessa smiled at her saying “you seem pretty energetic for someone who had a blast last night” Sadie laughed “i did have a blast but grades must be kept” She quickly added again “thanks for dropping me off last night hope i didn't create any mess in your car” Before Tessa could reply, a deep voice was heard from the doorway “Class” Austin walked into the class, dressed in a blue shirt and beige colored pants, his rolled sleeves flexing his veiny hands. Sadie felt a cold run down her spine as she saw him, she quickly composed herself and sat for the class. Austin who had already seen her didn't react, but his heart flustered, the class started and Austin taught in silence. At the back Tessa whispered to Sadie “I didn't drive you home, he did” She said pointing at Austin, Sadie had water in her mouth, a little surprised by the whole situation, she spat it out “what???” She said “why didn't you tell me” she added again, Tessa smirked “there was no way for me to do so, even if i did, does it change anything?” Sadie not wanting Tessa to notice anything quickly brushed it off and said “actually nothing changes” Austin who heard the little commotion asked if everything was fine and they replied yes. Class went on peacefully till it finally came to an end, Austin addressed them before leaving, before he left he stole a quick at Sadie before leaving, this went unnoticed by Sadie. Sadie and Tessa both went out of school to get lunch, alongside Christopher and Alex. They all chatted for a long time, realizing how much time they had spent together, they decided to leave for their respective residents. Sadie sauntered down the road, not paying attention to her surroundings, she didn't see the familiar car she had just passed. Lost in her music, she didn't notice a rider who had just lost control over his bike approaching her, with a speed of light someone held onto her and grabbed her by the waist, before she could figure out who it was, a deep voice came from behind her “why so lost today?”
