The military operation begins, with armed forces and police spreading across the country while American bases abroad prepare to strike military points suspected of colluding with the organization. However, the presidential office did not anticipate the organization attacking with its full force before orders for engagement were even given.
Riots and protests erupted within the United States due to the organization’s infiltration into American society, from teachers and doctors to police officers and shop owners, even government employees. The situation escalated when the organization's mobilized police started firing at civilians. This led to the greatest catastrophe: the American people are among the most armed populations, resulting in a full-blown civil war.
On a higher level, American warships began defying orders and attacking friendly vessels, and fighter jets started assaulting friendly military bases. The American President felt utterly defeated, unable to breathe or stand properly. For the first time in history, the United States had completely lost.
The Deputy stood frozen, overwhelmed by the numerous reports detailing the immense human and material losses.
Deputy: (in a voice filled with shock) They were prepared. They were waiting for this day.
President: (desperately) We couldn't have won. We are fighting ourselves, fighting our own people. All of this is our own doing.
Secretary of Defense: (in disbelief) But how did they learn about our military operation so quickly?
Deputy: (with a grim face) There is a spy in the presidential office.
The President stood up from his seat and left the noisy, bustling meeting room, trying to get some fresh air. He was confronted by a guard pointing a weapon at him, hearing gunfire echoing throughout the White House...
And thus, the war ended with the United States' defeat, and the Deputy President assumed the presidency. The Deputy President placed blame on all the military leaders who disobeyed orders, all the police officers, and everyone involved in that day, despite objections from most ministers and Congress. But no one could stand up to the Deputy.
America lost the war against itself and could not continue. The war, lasting only 48 hours, saw the collapse of America's foundations. But recovery was neither easy nor quick. The United States needed years of hard work to rebuild the country and restore stability. The consequences were severe: the economy was shattered, trust in the government was shaken, and families were torn apart.
Nevertheless, somehow, America began to rise again. After several years of chaos and disorder, the new government, led by the Deputy President, started to set things right. Many ministers and congressmen were amazed at the Deputy’s calm and how he quickly regained control, making them suspicious of his motives and actions.
However, what happened in the United States was just the beginning. Gradually, reports began to surface about similar activities in other countries. The organization was not targeting the United States alone; it was spreading its influence worldwide. There was no place where the organization was absent.
Deputy: (in a quiet voice, reflecting on the reports) If they could bring down America, no country is safe. We are now in a new world, a world under the organization's control.
And here, the Deputy meets Leonardo Borgia, known as "the God," in the American presidential office.
Leonardo: (with a mysterious smile) It seems things went as we planned, didn't they?
Deputy: (calmly) Yes, but the price was high. Now, we must ensure this never happens again.
The conversation between them continued...
(This is the introduction, and welcome to the world of my novel.)
