Chapter Eleven

When we reach the alpha's office, there are two guards outside. Assuming they are mind linking, the door opens and we enter. The first thing I notice is that Korri is sitting in a chair.

“Welcome to our pack, miss Winter. I am glad to have you here. However, I am sad about the terms that have gotten you here. I would like you to join our pack. However, do you have your wolf yet?” Alpha Alex says to me. “No sir. I just turned 17 and as you know, wolves are rewarded until 18.” I looked from him back to Korri. “ alright well, I would like to welcome you to our pack, it is late please relax for tonight and I'm sure we will talk more” Issac leads me back to my room. “Sis I hope you know I can tell when you’re lying.” he steps inside the room, “ do you have your wolf, is that why your sent changed?” I look at him stunned. “Bro what do you mean? How would I get my wolf” I tried to say confidently? Snow moves in my head. “Tell him, just don't let anyone else know.” “ But won't he tell his mate,” I asked her? “Let's hope he doesn't” she settles. “Hello sis, you can't zone out like that” I sigh, “yes the moon goddess, along with mom and dad, came to me in my sleep before we left. She granted me my wolf early. I was supposed to keep it a secret. Please don't tell anyone” he hugged me. “I love you, sis, just be careful.” he let go and walked back to his room.

Since I was alone, I decided to text Ember. “ Hey how's it going at school”, he read the message, and following his promise, he texted back. “It's alright, I miss you though”. I smiled at his message. I started to type out “you won't believe this” before I deleted the message before I sent “ I miss you too, I will see you soon hopefully” sent a smiley emoji and a second reply saying “ I have to get to bed. I have training early. Goodnight I love you” “I love you too. Goodnight”

I go and take a shower, deciding I need one. I scrub my body down and wash my hair. I then brush my teeth before rinsing off and wrapping a towel around my hair and body. I walked over to my closet and grabbed a pair of shorts and a tank top. I get dressed before unpacking my suitcase. I grab my laptop from my desk and set it up. I then walked over to Issac's room and knocked on the door. I heard shuffling inside before the door opened to reveal Rem. “Hey Rem, can I see my brother for a second, I'm sorry if I woke y’all,” I said, realizing how late it was. “ Oh yeah, Hey Iss your sisters here” He gets up and walks to the door, “what's up sis” “Hey bro can you tell me what site or s**t ima supposed to use for schooling.” he nods and hands me a paper. “Goodnight sis, I’ll see you in the morning” I nod and walk back to my room.

I set up the classroom and caught up on lessons. Doing school like this, I should be out of school sooner than I thought. I continue my school work to get ahead. I started growing tired and looked at the clock. It read 2 am. I finally closed everything up and lay down. Closing my eyes, sleep quickly takes over.

Again, I am met in a field, and know this means I look around and am met with snow and my parents. I sit down. Snow wrapped around me and my parents sat across from me. “ We feel as if it's time for you to know everything.” my mom said as my dad held them. I looked at their movements. “ We didn't tell you everything when we were alive because we were scared of you. So we kept secrets. However, now that you are not in that pack and you are away. We have talked to the moon goddess and your wolf and we decided we think you can handle it.” I looked at them confused. “What do you mean?”. My father stands up and walks over to me. “We told you we knew about the attack but we also knew he was sending Ember away. That was in the hope of being able to kill you. He’s mad that you're gone. The moon goddess is with Ember. She is telling him and introducing him to his wolf, Flame, you need to meet him. Find a day and go to his school. He will know everything about his father. Both of you have your wolves early. I believe you, my daughter. Go to him in a month.” I nodded at his words. Why does he want us together? Before I got the chance to ask, I slipped into darkness.
