Today was supposed to be the happiest day of his life—his engagement to Riya, the woman he loved. As they drove toward the venue, Riya, playful and teasing, leaned over, trying to steal his attention. For a moment, he got lost in her touch—until he saw the headlights of a truck barreling toward them. He reacted instantly, pushing Riya away, gripping the steering wheel, and attempting to regain control. But it was too late. The collision was deafening. The impact sent Riya flying out of the car, while Ranav was left unconscious in the wreckage, his body covered in blood. Two years passed. The world moved on, but Ranav never truly recovered. The accident took more than his love—it stole his mind. He was no longer the brilliant young business tycoon but a man with the mind of a ten-year-old, trapped in a world of confusion and innocence. His parents, Ajay and Anitha, were devastated, seeking every possible cure. Doctors advised patience, urging them to create meaningful experiences to trigger his lost memories. But time was cruel. Anitha realized that while once every girl in the city would have begged to marry her son, now, no one wanted to be the wife of a "mad" man. Desperate, she sought guidance from a priest, unaware that fate was about to intervene in the most unexpected way. --- Pavithra: A New Beginning At the temple, Anitha prayed for a miracle. Ranav, as usual, trailed behind her, lost in his childish curiosity. That was when he saw her. A young woman, dressed in a simple yet elegant pink churidar, stepped into the temple. Her waist-length black hair swayed in the breeze, her delicate bangles jingled softly. Pavithra. Ranav was mesmerized. He followed her, mimicking her movements, fascinated by the sound of her anklets. When she turned, she accidentally collided with him, and both tumbled to the ground. She landed beneath him, startled by his intense gaze. "Please… don’t move. It will hurt," he whispered, his voice trembling like a child afraid of pain. Pavithra, though embarrassed, saw the innocence in his eyes. She gently reassured him, her touch tender as she bandaged his wounded arm with a piece of her dupatta. Anitha, watching from afar, saw something she hadn’t in years—hope. That day, Anitha made a decision. She would make Pavithra her daughter-in-law. Pavithra’s life had been difficult. Orphaned young, she lived with relatives who treated her as a burden. When Anitha proposed the marriage, they were quick to agree—for a price. They didn’t care about Pavithra’s happiness, only the financial compensation that came with the arrangement. Despite the circumstances, Pavithra was content. For the first time, she had a real family—one that cared for her. And though Ranav was mentally unstable, she found herself drawn to him, determined to help him recover. Ranav, in his childlike joy, adored Pavithra. He clung to her, refusing to let her out of his sight. With time, he showed progress—fewer nightmares, fewer violent outbursts. He was healing. And then, one fateful night, everything changed. --- A Night of Transformation It was a stormy evening. Pavithra stepped onto the terrace to collect the drying clothes, unaware that her soaked saree clung to her curves like a second skin. Ranav, watching her, felt something stir inside him. It was unfamiliar yet powerful. He approached her, wrapping his arms around her from behind, turning her to face him. Their eyes locked. And in that moment, something shifted. The childlike innocence in his gaze was replaced by something else—something deeply human. That night, he wasn’t the Ranav who had regressed to a ten-year-old. He was the man he was meant to be. By morning, Ranav had no recollection of what had happened. But Pavithra knew. And she kept that knowledge to herself, her heart full of hope. Weeks passed. Pavithra’s body began to change. The realization hit her—she was pregnant. But before she could share the news, something unexpected triggered Ranav’s buried past. --- The Scream That Brought Him Back One morning, as Pavithra prepared breakfast, dizziness overwhelmed her. She stumbled, knocking over a vase. "Ahhh! Ranav!" she screamed as she collapsed. The sound echoed in Ranav’s ears, triggering something deep within his mind. Flashes of memories—Riya’s laughter, the blinding headlights, the crash—flooded back. Overwhelmed, he lost consciousness. When he awoke, he was no longer the boy he had been for the past two years. He was Ranav—the man, the CEO, the fiancé who had once lost everything. And standing before him was someone he never expected to see again. Riya. --- Riya’s Return and The Betrayal Unveiled "Riya?" His voice was barely a whisper. "But… you were dead." Anitha placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "No, Ranav. The police assumed she had died, but she survived. She’s been in a coma all this time." Ranav was stunned. Everything he had believed for two years—his grief, his pain—was based on a lie. But before he could process it, his mother continued. "Tonight, we will finally celebrate your marriage to Riya." The words hit him like a blow. He turned to his mother in disbelief. "What about Pavithra?" Anitha’s expression hardened. "She was just a temporary arrangement. She’s not meant for you, Ranav." Then, as if delivering the final strike, she added, "She’s pregnant, Ranav. But we don’t even know if the child is yours." Rage and disbelief coursed through him. Pavithra—his wife, his everything—had been cast aside like she was nothing. Without another word, he stormed out, determined to find her. --- Reclaiming His Love He found Pavithra washing dishes in the home of her cruel relatives, her face pale, her body weak. Without hesitation, he took her hand and led her away. She didn’t resist. She had been humiliated, abandoned—but she still trusted him. That night, at the very event meant to announce his reunion with Riya, Ranav stood on stage, holding Pavithra’s hand. "I’d like to introduce you all to my wife, Mrs. Pavithra Ranav," he declared. "The mother of my child." Gasps filled the air. Riya’s face paled. But before she could speak, the doors burst open—police officers entered, arresting her on the spot. Ranav smirked. "I knew something was off. The accident wasn’t an accident, was it, Riya? You and Hari planned it. You wanted me dead." ( Hari is buiseness rival of Ranav cuz Ranav gets all contract , while hari is not. So Hari decided to kill ranav, If Ranav existence is no now in this world, Hari would be able tho grey all contracts) Riya trembled, unable to deny the truth. She had been exposed. --- A Final Choice Ranav turned to his mother. "You accepted Pavithra when I was broken. Why is she not worthy now?" Anitha had no answer. He exhaled sharply. "If you can’t accept my wife, then I will leave." Pavithra’s heart ached. She knew Ranav loved his parents. She gently placed her hand over his. "Stay," she whispered. "Give her a chance." Anitha, overwhelmed by guilt, broke down in tears. She apologized, realizing that she had almost lost her son forever. In the end, love won. As they returned to their home that night, Ranav held Pavithra close, whispering, "I’m here. Always." And this time, he meant it. The End.
