Gad Anderson takes Flora Campbell to Dolce d’Villa, the famous village for being the cheapest place in the whole City.
They were now in front of a mansion that wasn’t that big. This mansion was only the size of Campbell’s living room but Flora couldn’t help but be surprised by Gad. Despite his poor status, he surprisingly managed to have the necessities for living. But how?
Soon Craig, Gad’s butler, came to open the door for them.
“The food you asked is ready in the dining room, Sir,” Craig said.
Gad nodded and they entered the mansion. Craig entertained Flora as Gad went to his room for a while and when he returned, Flora noticed how Gad is now well dressed, still looking ordinary but compared to his first appearance, he looked cleaner now.
Decent and firm, that’s what immediately came to Flora’s mind when she looked at Gad’s entire demeanor.
He was a dirty guy then but now … he looks a very handsome man.
After Gad succeeded in the military, he revived the remaining property of The Andersons, even the small businesses including Dolce d’Villa.
Gad was also the CEO of his aunt’s pharmaceutical company now, known as the Groupon Company, the major super-rich pharmaceutical company in the country.
Gad led Flora towards the dining room. There was a lot of food on the long table, something that made Gad smile. His butler and chefs never let him down.
Gad assists her to sit on the table, gently, like a porcelain marble that he must keep from breaking.
Gad sat next to Flora. “Let’s eat?” he asked her, his voice full of manliness.
For Flora, she still couldn’t accept that her family made her look like she was really useless and ready to give to a stranger.
Gad is a total stranger to her. She doesn’t know why he has that courage to face The Campbells just to apply to be her husband. She didn’t know what his real purpose was. She doesn’t know what his intentions are. And all of that thought is just making her feel worried.
Gad noticed the tears quickly escaping from Flora’s eyes. So, he slowly brought his hand closer to Flora’s face and gently removed the cloak from her left eye to wipe her tears, but Flora immediately avoided it.
“N-No.” She stammered as she immediately covered her face back to its normal. “I’m sorry.” She felt ashamed and insecure because of her scar.
Gad let out a sigh and called his butler. Craig arrived and he already had this expensive herbal cream Gad got from Groupon.
“Can I?” Gad gentled, asking Flora’s permission to touch her face again.
Although hesitant, Flora isn’t that fazed anymore, so she nodded.
From there, Gad carefully removed the cover from Flora’s face. He took the herbal cream and properly treated her scar, slowly embracing her.
Gad noticed that Flora was impressed with the way he put the medicine on her face.
“You have undeniably great medical skills.” She softened, making a flush smile slip on Gad’s face. Just now a woman praised his skills.
In fact, he learned these medical skills during his military service. He knew back then that the girl who saved him got scarred. So, he collected herbs and Groupon Company helped him to make the most efficient medicine for scar, promising to heal the girl’s scar.
“Why...” Meanwhile, Flora asked, starting to feel confused. “Why are you doing all this kindness to me?” They’re strangers to each other but Gad is treating her like he met her already. Who exactly is this man?
This girl, she saved him without hesitation ten years ago causing her to be badly scarred and rejected by her entire family. Now, it’s time for Gad to return all the favors and make her happy.
“I assure you, Flora.” Gad said, embracing and reassuring her. “You will find your beauty again.”
After many days, the scar on Flora’s face completely healed, making her find her newfound beauty.
With Gad Anderson’s help, Flora’s beautiful skin returned from head to toe. Gad was by Flora’s side during her recovery journey, caring and respecting her, which made Flora feel totally moved by him as she finally agreed to marry him.
Everyone in the church cheered for their joy for Gad and Flora, the newly wed couple. And as they exit the church, a delivery man suddenly approaches Flora causing all the people there to stop.
The delivery man was holding a bouquet of flowers and a super expensive jewelry box. The delivery man was dressed decently, so Flora immediately thought that he was not just a normal delivery man.
“Mrs Anderson,” the delivery man called, handing Flora the bouquet of flowers and the jewelry box. “Someone is giving you these expensive gifts.”
Flora opened the jewelry box causing her and the girls around who saw it to stop. It is the super-luxurious and original Celestial Locket.
Flora was surprised. She knew she had the fake one before, so being able to see and touch the original necklace that all the girls here dream about is a big dream come true.
“Oh, my god,” the girls whispered. “She had the Celestial Locket!”
“I wish I could just be Flora!”
“Girl, it’s worth 30 million dollars. Who might be the rich-handsome man who gave it to her?”
Everyone was dazzled about the necklace but only one girl can have it and for Gad, it’s Flora, her beautiful and kind wife.
“Who gave it?” Flora asked, turning back to the delivery man.
The delivery man didn’t speak as Gad ordered him. He wants to be the one to tell his wife.
But that didn’t work when Gad’s phone suddenly rang. It is his subordinate in the military who was calling him, Mikael.
Gad left Flora for a moment and walked away from the event to answer the call.
“Commander Gad Anderson,” Mikael began. “We have news for you.”
“What was it?” Gad asked, his voice becoming unusually dead serious.
“We have now found out the real reason behind the m******e that happened to your family ten years ago.”
