Adrien's Point of View

"Plagg, claws out!" I was in the bathroom, the school bell had just rung. I was going to follow Marinette to see what was going on.
I jumped up to the roof of the school and saw Marinette come out, her head down. I widened my eyes in surprise as I saw her turn and go behind the school. I quickly leapt after her.
"Hello, Maritrash." I ducked into the shadows and peeked our to see Chloe and Sabrina standing in front of Marinette. Both girls were giving my Princess nasty looks.
"Hello, Chloe." Marinette replied flatly. "I'm ready."
Ready? Ready for what? What was Marinette doing back her with her? I guess I was about to find out.
"Good." Chloe said, then to my astonishment, she forcefully slammed Marinette into the wall. Marinette collapsed from the impact, but barely winced. Chloe then started kicking her. Marinette just laid there, taking it all.
I shook myself from my trance and bounded in front of Chloe, blocking her from Marinette. All three girls eyes widened.
"Ch-chat Noir! What are yo-you doing here?" Chloe stammered.
I ignored her and looked down at Marinette. "You Okay, Princess?" I asked her.
She narrowed her eyes. "Go away." Her voice was cold.
I didn't respond and picked her up. I held her bridal style and used my baton to shoot myself to her house, leaving two stunned girls behind.
I gently set her down above her house, and she immediately pushed me away. "What did you do that for?" She forcefully asked me.
I stepped back, stunned. "They were hurting you, Pri-"
"Don't call me that!" she yelled at me. "I am not a princess! I am not your Princess either!" My chest started to tighten up. "Maybe you should keep yourself out of other peoples personal affairs because maybe you only make them worse!" Tears suddenly appeared at her eyes, and began to fall down her face.
"P- Marinette," I quickly corrected my mistake, "you're not okay, so I will stay with you tonight to help you get better." I had to figure out what was going on with her. She wouldn't act that way just because Chloe was hitting her, would she?
"Just go away!" Marinette shouted, tears were pouring out of her eyes. "Go before I make things worse." She barely whispered that part, but I could hear it thanks to my catlike hearing, and it felt absolutely terrible.
"Princess..." I stepped forward and hugged her, tears starting to fall from my eyes. "It's going to be fine, you're going to be alright." I gently said to her, squeezing my eyes shut as another warm tear left my eye.
