Belle's POV
I woke up to Jeff's kiss on my forehead, making me smile sheepishly. After our breathtaking, and intense time last night, I slept off almost immediately but soon woke up an hour later. Jeff was sleeping then and I just couldn't get enough of his sweet face as I watched him sleep peacefully like a baby.
I stayed that way for about an hour, admiring every strand of hair on his body. I can't believe we were apart for so many years. We've been missing each other for so long and wishing the other person reaches out first but we didn't make an effort. At least Jeff was making efforts every year, I just left things to fate. Finally having him back now has made me realize he's the missing piece in my life, in Jefferson's life too.
