Ro's parents have their own private plane and I doubt it's meant to be conspicuous. They don't care to be careful with how they spend their money. Sure, I go all out for my science but it's for science. No one knows there's a lab worth three times what the house is worth. This is just showing off. I thought the point of being underground was to stay in the dark.
"You looked stressed," Ro says as I look around the cabin. "Is this your first time on a plane?"
"No, when I was little I used to go on tours with both my parents all the time. I just-" I laugh. "Does no one question how this is paid for? I mean Mr. Kennedy has one but he's like hella old money. I'm just realizing I have no idea how any of this works,"
