Chapter Six Seokjin ended the call already with a smile plastered on his face as all the artworks of Jungkook is already displayed on the wall. He looked around letting out a deep sigh, they are now opened. The owner of the place where the exhibit got held agreed to get the payment after the event since Seokjin and Jungkook doesnt have enough money for it- the only money that Seokjin got is for his tuition fee which Jungkook doesnt want to waste. Seokjin smiled when his friend Jimin went inside clinging onto his boyfriend, Namjoon. Seokjin walked towards his friends hugging the both of them before flashing a wide smile- he's proud, more than that of course. Minutes later, Hoseok went in. After all of them Taehyung finally arrived which made Seokjin extremely happy. "Where's my cousin?" Taehyung asked. "Inside the room. He's still fixing some things." Taehyung slowly nods his head and looks around trying to pick what he really wants whenever Jungkook held an exhibit, he always makes sure to get atleast two or three paintings not just because he likes it but also for Seokjin. A lot of hours has passed, their friends and even the ever so busy Taehyung stayed just incase people will come so that they can help the couple- no one came. Their friends are kind enough to buy atleast one of Jungkook's paintings which the older really hates- he hates having an exhibit with only his friends attending and buying his damn works. Jungkook gulped down as their friends waved at them as they made their way out. Taehyung didnt say anything and just let out a tight-lipped smile. Seokjin took in a deep breathe, problematic. No, not because no one came again. He wont ever say that this exhibit failed because Jungkook got to do what he really wants- only that there are people who still cant appreciate his works. Jungkook bit his lower lips as he stared at Seokjin dead on the eyes trying to search for dissapointment or atleast irritation but he didnt see any of that. Seokjin stopped infront of his boyfriend letting out a proud smile as he put both of his hands on Jungkook's shoulders massaging it a little before letting out a contented sigh. Seokjin couldnt feel anything but happiness and he just wish that Jungkook felt that way too. It doesnt matter how many people came and how much they earned as long as Jungkook did something that he really wanted the most then it's enough- more than enough for the younger. "You should rest, okay? Go home and rest. You've done a lot, babe." Seokjin said, still with a smile. Jungkook looked around taking his younger boyfriend's hands bringing it up to kiss his fingertips. "You are tired too, Jin. I'll help you-" Seokjin immediately shook his head at his older boyfriend. He knows that Jungkook is emotionally and physically tired with all of this, he prepared for this exhibit for almost half a year and it's time for him to get his well-deserved rest. "It's fine. Jimin will come back here to help me." He nods his head trying to assure the older. Jungkook shut his eyes closed taking in a deep breathe not wanting to utter a single word afraid that it will only make the tears in his eyes slipped just like that, out of dissapointment. Jungkook knows that he's been nothing but a burden that is comfortably resting on Seokjin's shoulders. Now, it only made things worst. How many times did he try and failed about this damn exhibit? Now, how can they pay for the rent of the place? He doesnt want to let Seokjin shoulder all of that but he doesnt have any money to help his younger boyfriend. Jungkook leaned in pressing a long kiss on top of Seokjin's head which made the younger let out a deep contented sigh. Jungkook is taking it so well infront of him. The younger knows that once he came back home, he will let all his frustrations out with a numerous bottle of beers seeking comfort to the feeling that those alcholoc drinks are giving. "I love you so much, babe. Im so proud of you." Seokjin sai with a small smile gracing his lips. Jungkook didnt say anything and just let out a tight-lipped smile before making his way out of the place groaning while kicking everything that is getting on his way. Seokjin saw it. He saw the irritation and anger in his older boyfriend's eyes as he kicked the trash bin outside. Though, he pretend that he didnt see any of it. He bit his lower lips and picked up his phone pressing the green button when he saw that Taehyung is the one calling him. "Tae..." The man on the other line cant help but to let out a deep sigh. "How are you? Jungkook?" He worriedly asked. "Im fine and I told Jungkook to come back home already to rest." Taehyung chuckled on the other line and Seokjin just shrugged it off. "You also need to rest. Are you still there?" "Yes. I'll probably clean and all. I'll go home after." Taehyung let out a deep sigh knowing that Seokjin is probably so tired as of the moment and the fact that he has two jobs waiting for him tomorrow made Taehyung worry even more. "Do you want me to help you?" Taehyung carefully asked. Seokjin immediately shook his head as if his friend could see him doing the gestures, "No. Jimin will go back here to help me. Thanks, Tae." Taehyung said something even telling the younger to just call him if ever he needs anything. Seokjin assured his friend that he is going to be just fine. It's not like a disaster just happened! Of course, they're going to be fine. "Thanks for helping me out, Chim." Seokjin smiled when his cute friend is already making his way towards him. "Dont mention it." Jimin was about to start cleaning but stopped to looked at his friend as he realized something. "Is the money you guys earned enough? How are you going to pay for this place?" Jimin worriedly asked. Seokjin shrugged his shoulders while biting his lower lips. "I have enough money in my account." He said. "Are you crazy?" Jimin shouted, "That's for your f*****g tuition fee!" He said rolling his eyes. Seokjin bobbed his head. There's nothing he can do about it. They have to pay for this place. "I can just enroll next time, Chim." Seokjin said in almost a whisper. Jimin looked so pissed as he crossed his arms while he's standing infront of Seokjin. "I get that you're helping Jungkook to reach his dreams," Jimin said, "But you also need to help yourself." He said in a soothing voice. Seokjin looked down and turned his back against his friend not wanting him to see the tears slipping down from his eyes. It's draining him. He's so damn exhausted but he needs to fight.
