Chapter Seven "Thanks..." Seokjin waved his hands at Jimin shutting the door of his friend's car. He let out a deep sigh before opening their gate and finally making his way inside their house. The younger scrunched up his nose as he shut the door. He bit his lower lips when he saw Jungkook sitting on the floor with empty bottles of beer beside him. Seokjin took in a deep breathe and stood infront of Jungkook looking at him with a faint expression on his face. He knew it, his boyfriend is so dissapointed. "Babe..." It is not just him trying to catch Jungkook's attention, there's a bigger part of Seokjin that wants Jungkook to know that he is still proud of him. Jungkook looked up and smirked when he saw his boyfriend. He saw how the younger's eyes glistened because of the tears that is threatening to fall. Seokjin yelped when Jungkook tried to stand up only to fall on his knees. He stand up once again and the younger was about to hold his arms but Jungkook shoved his hands away. "You," Jungkook smirked while pointing directly at his boyfriend, "Why cant you just drop me?" He asked. Seokjin took a step back because of how much Jungkook smells alcohol and he hates it. He shrugged those words away and tried to hold his boyfriend's house but Jungkook took a step backward snapping at the younger. "You are probably so f*****g tired of me!" Seokjin's shoulders visibly tensed because of how loud Jungkook's scream is- it seems like it is not even his boyfriend. "I.. I am not, babe." Seokjin said, "I love you." He whimpered. It's hurting him. All he wants is to see Jungkook achieving his dreams of becoming a famous painter- he knows that if ever Jungkook made it big, he will be very happy doing his passion and that's why Seokjin doesnt want to give up. He wants to see Jungkook happy. That's why he always wished for Jungkook to be a little bit more patient and stronger for the both of them to make their relationship work. Jungkook rolled his eyes grabbing an empty bottle of beer. He scrunched up his nose smirking a little bit. Seokjin yelped jumping out from his spot when Jungkook threw the empty bottle of beer on the cold hard wall the shattered pieced making a sound which made the younger let out another whimper. Jungkook let out a very deep sigh before looking back at Seokjin with his eyes wide as if realizing what he just did because of the pain that is visible in his lover's eyes. The younger took in a deep breathe looking down to wiped his tears away. He let out a faint smile before walking bravely towards his boyfriend putting both of his hands on the older's shoulders. "You.. you're tired. You have to rest, okay?" Seokjin said, concerned. Jungkook didnt say anything and just made his way inside their room without the help of his boyfriend which made Seokjin let out a problematic sigh. Though, he knows that Jungkook wont remember any of this once he wake up and there is no way Seokjin is going to remind his boyfriend how he is so hurt. Seokjin ran his fingers through his hair covering his face with both of his hands groaning in frustration when Jungkook is already out of sight. He bit his lower lips feeling the tears slipping out from his eyes as he walked towards the shattered pieces of the bottle of beer carefully picking it up. Soon after, he cleaned after Jungkook's mess making him very exhausted from all the things that he did in one day since the place of the exhibit is kinda big and there's a lot of unsold artworks. Seokjin finally went inside his shared room with Jungkook. He stopped as he took a glimpse of his reflection on the mirror- he stopped to fully look at himself. He looks so exhausted. The dark circle under his eyes is very visible and the glow that he has before is gone. "It's okay..." He inhaled and exhaled while clenching his fist as he let out a small smile trying to comfort himself. All of this pain is just temporary, this wont last long. Jungkook and him is going to be happy and will live their lives much more easily, they just have to be patient. Seokjin looked at his phone immediately picking it up pressing the green button when he saw his bestfriend's name on the screen. He looked at the sleeping Jungkook before carefully going outside of the room to answer the call so he wont disturbed his boyfriend who's probably so tired. "Hello, Tae." Seokjin bit his lower lips when he tried to sound cheerful but ended up sounding so fake. "I thought you're not going to answer since you should be sleeping right now." Taehyung said. The younger shook his head, "I just did some things in our house. Im going to rest." He said. Seokjin protruded his lips when he heard is friend let out a deep sigh from the other line. "Let me pay the exhibit, Jin." Taehyung blurted out. Jimin immediately told him about Seokjin's plan of using the money he saved for his tuition fee to pay for the rent of the place where they held the exhibit. Taehyung wont let that happen. Yes, he believes that Jungkook has skills and has the potential but Seokjin deserves to achieve his dreams too. "No, Tae." Seokjin said in a stern voice. He knows that Jungkook wont be very happy once he find out that Taehyung is the one who paid for it- so no. "Then let me pay for your school." Taehyung sighed. Seokjin stopped for a moment shutting his eyes closed. He appreciate the way Taehyung cares for hum but he wont let his friend do such things for him, that is way too much. "Thanks, Tae. But no." He said with finality in his voice. He didnt even let his friend say something again knowing that he is just going to try and convince him over and over thats why he ended the call. Seokjin let out a deep sigh- losing count as to how many times he sighed for this day, as if those short breathes indicates how exhausted he is from all of this.
